The reveal on that one person's messy room and then finding out they were dealing with depression.. I feel like a bigger asshole for laughing at that reveal because of Connor's reaction and the editing. Especially The Boys logo showing up.

I mean...they weren't forced to submit their pictures, they knew what the stream was about. If they're in a vulnerable spot and not open to a roast, they probably should've kept the images to themselves. My hope though is that they do have a good sense of humor and got a chuckle out of Connor being Connor.

Catzombies: I FEEL U. My sister was found dead on Christmas morning from an overdose, I had to break the news to my mom - who was already really out of it on drugs. She LOST it and purposely overdosed, I had to call 911 and she was then hospitalized for a few weeks. This was all after the loss of my dad and two aunts. My room was awful for YEARS and I didn't do anything about it until we were forced to sell the house after my grandfather's death, while my grandmother was hospitalized with covid and dementia. It took a big change to finally get me to clear my room. My bf at the time (now husband) said he felt immense sadness seeing my house and the way we all lived. Not sure where I am going with all this but, it gets better.

To Catzombie: There are a lot of people who have an understanding of what you're going through. Don't be shy to reach out to loved ones and know that the pain will eventually subside, since I imagine a pain like that is impossible to remove completely. Cleaning up the room could help with your mental state as well. Good luck out there :)

I know you feel you are trying to help, but please stop saying stuff like this. It doesn't help. Not all of us have "loved ones" to reach out to. My "friends" have never been there, and my "family" is a huge contributor to my depression and anxiety. And talking to strangers doesn't help. And the pain does not always eventually subside. It is clear you don't truly understand many people's situations, so it's better to not imply you do. I really wish everything would be okay for everyone who isn't a terrible person, but that simply is not the case far too often.

@@akiMKHSome people, when dealing with the death of a loved one, experience a lot of irrational and misdirected anger. Perhaps when that commenter is in a better place, they will understand that lashing out at people just trying to help is the wrong move. I know when my younger brother passed suddenly, I was very angry at the world and just seeing people older than him made me feel irrationally angry, because I felt it was so unfair that they got to live to see that age and my little brother didn’t. You’re not doing the wrong thing to tell someone to reach out for help. It’s true, not everybody has close loved ones who care, but that’s what hotline resources are for. Someone always cares, even when you think no one does. You just have to be reminded to look up sometimes. I hope this doesn’t discourage anyone. They’re just going through their own pain and having a hard time handling it, that’s all. It’s not personal.

I was gonna say the British didn't colonize the Philippines, but apparently they did conquer and hold Manila from 1762 to 1764, then the Spaniards took it back.

@RogerRamjet In india atleast we did not lose any of the local languages or culture and they are mostly compulsory to learn in most of the states. We mostly lost wealth more than anything. Our gdp had been reduced by like 90%+, majority (Again 90%+) lived in poverty when we had become free in 1947 (with a population of around 300 mil that time). It did take us a while but i would say the progress is great and we are doing pretty decent now. Ig This is what happens when your ancestors weren't smart enough in dealing with those who came for trade.

@@RogerRamjet69im sorry but no,it’s very clear you don’t actually know about any of this. you can definitely make a case for wales and ireland but scotland was never a victim of ‘english colonisation’, and if you’re gonna say that, then you can say the exact same thing but opposite because scotland was also fucking horrible to england. it was called the ‘BRITISH empire’ and not the ‘ENGLISH empire’ for a reason. scotland was also a coloniser and was a very willing part in the empire, they actually tried to make their own empire but they literally bankrupted themselves by trying, which is part of the reason why THEY wanted to create the united kingdom. just for a single example, do a quick google search about exactly what fucking horrible things scotland did to ireland.
