Some information on Sora: She's the very first member of Hololive and without her it wouldn't be there, she's active for almost 7 years now and is highly respected by all the other members. And yes, you have heard her in the Hoshimatic Project cover of Unknown Mother Goose (the one with ten members singing together) This song is somewhat a homage to two older covers (over 5 year old covers) she did that got quite big, made by the same composer, the songs' names are 太陽系ディスコ / Solar System Disco and エイリアンエイリアン / Alien Alien and have the same style of MV. Sora has sung Star,star,start in her karaoke streams before and she hits that high note without problems. Because of that ability she's often called the Human Vocaloid. If you want more of those, besides the two covers I mentioned, her cover of Teo also has a lot. For a different member I recommend Tsunomaki Watame's original song Revival.

Tokino Sora is Hololive. She is the progenitor of Hololive and is among the very firsts of vtubers in general. This song's MV is a homage to one of her very first successful covers, Alien Alien.

Sora has a lot of respect and admiration to her name. The Daisenpai, the founder, the original, the true idol. She's not only a pillar of Hololive, but one of the pioneers of the whole vtuber industry. She's a cornerstone of vtubing, a hell of a singer, and a humble girl with an idol dream.

there are so many covers/originals she has done that i could recommend... but I always have to recommend her singing "pretender", Her voice just hits so beautifully. but if a Duet is more of interest, then Scale the walls is a good choice with both Sora and Azki (SorAz). it's always fun watching someone enjoy her songs!!!!

Sora is highly regarded in Hololive for being the first talent with them. For a long time it was hard for her to get into collabs and stuff with the others because everyone else was a little too intimidated by her status as the original. As time went on, she and the others in Gen 0 have managed to build a lot of relationships in the company and she's been a lot happier for it.

this song give nostagia because this song is produced by NayutalieN and Sora covered a song from them 5 years ago called Alien, it has millions of views and the MV is very similar to that of the cover so its basically a throwback. I don't know if she did it in one take, but it would make sense for her especially to limit the number of takes she does dances in, since she literally can't sweat. ("Sora Talks About Her Condition And Why She Can't Attend BBQs..." by Hololive Clips) It also makes sense to refrain from doing things that confuse the tracking, as well. She is absolutely lovable, yes. She's one of the talents I sometimes just watch, not able to understand much, but enjoying her voice.

so, tokino sora is not only the first vtuber of cover corp, she's something like the 4th-10th vtuber to ever exist depending on how you count it. she's basically one of the very first vtubers ever, and is one of the pioneers that created the entire entertainment field of being a vtuber.

Every time I hear this... Those damn high notes are wild. That's also part of why hardly anyone in hololive covers her songs, they're in a vocal range that's really hard for most of them.

I just found you soni still need to watch the other music reacts but here some recommendations I think you didn't watch yet. Hololive: From AZKI and Sora a New (months old) Original: ハジメノイッポ Pretty much everything from Towa, but either "palette" or her cover of "error" are classics. And my special suggestion is from a smaller corporation named Phase connect, where 3 of their Talents brought out a new original song: Lone Star (Project Orion, Phase Connect Music).

I remember I recommended this a while back, thanks for reacting to it! Sora is THE original Hololive member, and one of the longest active Vtubers in general, having debuted all the way back in 2017. Without her, we literally would not have Hololive. Sora’s dream was to become an idol, but iirc certain medical conditions made it hard for her to be an in person idol. She and her friend (A-chan) eventually approached Yagoo, Cover’s CEO about starting up a virtual idol business, and the rest is history. Stream today was very fun, gonna keep recommending “We Are Gamers!” by Hololive Gamers and “Non-Fiction” by HoloMyth. Will update about Justice’s debut song once that releases on Saturday’s video.

The first Hololive member, who got her start in 2017. She actually predates popular usage of Live2D and as a result only uses 3D models. She is the most conventional idol in Hololive and that reflects in her music, but she has a lot if songs, both original and covers

Tokino Sora (toe-key-no SO-ra, or Sora for short) is the very first member of hololive. Iirc, her very first stream, if you don't include the staff members watching to make sure things are working correctly, had like 13 views. Compare that to just about a year ago, when the holo-Advent girls debuted each of their streams had over 100,000 watching live. Hololive has come a long way, and would not exist if not for our beloved Sora-chan.

I'll skip the background info about Sora since you've already got plenty from other comments, but in general her songs and dancing are more idol-style, so it's a lot of happy catchy songs and simpler moves that the audience can follow along. Some of the rest you've reacted to (eg. Bae the ratgirl and Kiara the phoenix) are good at dancing and actively pushing boundaries in that area, naturally they'll be doing more complex stuff. Not to mention this is a much older song, so Sora's dancing (and tracking tech in general) has improved a lot. Little side note: Japanese names are last name first so it's a safe bet to call them by the back part of their name (in this case, Sora). And if you're concerned about pronunciation, it's not difficult to figure out! You're working with phonetically spelled names written in the English alphabet, after all. Just find audio of how a-e-i-o-u is pronounced, those are the first 5 characters in the Japanese writing system. Almost all their syllables are modifications to those 5 sounds. Figure that part out, you'll be close enough that no one is really going to complain. And while technically the Indo and English vtubers don't follow that, it's how the JP members would call them, so it's not really wrong either. Eg. Calli the grim reaper in English is something like "ke-lye-oh-pee" but the JP members use "ka-lee-oh-pay". Both work.
