As you guessed, this is a love song to her fans. She actually made an official English version as well in order to thank overseas fans as well. This song is the purest expression of gratitude imagineable, and I know several other Hololive members who herald this as their favorite song anyone from the company has ever made (which is a LOT of strong competition).

Most of Sakura Miko's songs are directed to her fans, either as appreciating them, thanking them, or expressing how she wants to improve herself for them. Her first song like that was Sakurakaze and it is pure wholesome. Speaking of Miko, she has issued Aqua a challenge to face her in a game contest with the stakes being that if Miko wins she gets locked up in Miko's room and won't be allowed to graduate. lol Just a bit of an indicator of how much the other Holomems love Aqua and are sad to see her go.

Quick correction on the song's title: "Aqua Iro Palette" (Aqua color Palette)

Graduation in VTuber terms basically means quitting as the character and/or leaving the agency they belong to.

At least with Hololive, graduations aren't usually mandatory, at least from the company's side. Health problems might make it necessary, irreconcilable creative differences might make it necessary, but if the company is requiring it explicitly, that's generally a termination. I think it means "when the color changes, that's the part she's singing." Oh man. It seems like there've been a lot of original song releases recently. Or maybe this is a usual amount!

If you play apex, then there are some clips of her u can watch. She's called Mad dog of holo, cuz of how she plays and pulls of lots of moments, especially when she's solo. She has achieved going to master as a solo, and has participated in 1 apex tournament, aka vsaikyo, in where she teamed up with towa and suisei.

Howdy! Graduations are when someone decides to leave one of these companies. In her announcement she cited differing opinions between her and the company (Some would say Creative Differences if we read into it too much) but the fact she is having a graduation at all tells us she made a choice. When someone chooses to have a graduation they often have a build up, maybe its to do with contractual obligations or maybe its because they want to catch a particular event before they leave, in this case we still have Aqua for another few weeks and it will end, usually, with a relay stream where a bunch of other members call in and talk with her and wish her luck! When a vtuber is forced to retire it usually ends in a termination. There is no fanfare, no build up, the channel gets wiped clean and expunged 90% of the time and a PR notice is posted to social media, sometimes a video or stream is put out by the people who started with them (Genmates). Now theres the unwritten rule about not bringing up previous lives or alternate accounts, but I am willing to put money down that we will see aqua again, she started streaming originally because she was painfully shy, fast forward 6 years and we have one of the most beloved vtubers around. For those who aren't familiar, the term "bad ending" is used in story based video games where the choices you make end up with a bad ending to the story. You can replay the game making different choices to get to a good ending. In this animation it shows the world in this bad ending timeline stopped at September 13, 2022. The creator of this animation stated that the timeline we are living in right now IS the good ending. Hololive Myth managed to stop the destruction of the world and we live in the good ending now in our current timeline.

so there's a youtuber called Just egg-san who has a bunch of videos that go into the references of many of the hololive songs with the most recent being for this song. some reactors have done videos where they look into the MV first then into references video either in a separate video or in the same video. it might be interesting to see that on here.

The lore in some level of detail: This animation depicts one of many possible bad endings for MYTH (Calli, Kiara, Ina, Gura, Ame). In this bad ending, Ina becomes fully possessed by The Ancient One (the C'thulu-adjacent eldritch God that lives in her book). Ame, the time traveler, finds a route through parallel timeliness to The End: a place beyond the universe. The timestamp on the video she sees is the approximate time of the known universe as of the date of the video. There, Ame encounters countless other parallel versions of herself from other bad endings. All trying to undo whatever caused their universe's bad ending, resetting the universe in the process. We live in the one and only Good Ending where Myth all joins Hololive and live happily ever after. The animator stated they will not animate MYTH's Good Ending because it is already happening before our very eyes. Some Easter Eggs: -In The End, you can see thr Oshi Marks (fan emoji) for Council. -Sana's Oshi Mark (the planet) is flickering as a tribute to her graduating in the middle of this animation project. -During this current reset, as it zooms away from Earth, you can see IRyS' symbol representing Hope in the clouds, implying what we see here might have been the last reset before our current Good Ending timeline. -(where available), orchestral versions of each member's original songs play during their "hero moment" such as Hinotori for Kiara and Reflect for Gura.

This animation took Mazu a year and a half to create by himself. It contains so many references to each of the girls' lore and memes, even the music! They're arrangements of each of the girls original songs or stream BGMs. A masterpiece! Oh and Mazu has shown on Twitter some teasers of the sequel he's working on. We'll likely have to wait another 18 months for it to be completed, so let's be patient and let him cook! 😆
