Hey NALF! I am watching more and more Videos of Silas, Connor and you lately. Kind of addictive, hahaha. While the other guys are fun to watch, I really love the approach of your Videos. You are going more in to deeper thoughts, you like to ask more philosphocal questions . I think that is a very important difference to Silas and Conners videos. It feels like you want to "understand" instead of living and getting along. No offense to the other guys, they are cool and they send great and positive messages, but I really dig your laidback, thoughtful vibes about living in this great country. And you have some great editing skills with a good taste in music, Dude! Enjoy your stay here as good and long as it gets. Greetings from Wolfsburg, David.

Oh my god!!! playing "memory" was something I did as I was a little kid. I totally forgot that this kind of game exists. Even the cards look exactly the same since then...it´s about 40 years ago...My grandma literally forced me to play that with her so many times...don´t get me wrong it was always fun... but now as an adult I recognize that she did that just to promote the development of the cognitive performance of a young child....

Well, I paid that much, too, but that was by choice...the cinema I went to has five price categories and I went for the most expensive. But I could have went for cheaper and still would have gotten good seats. I just happen to enjoy to treat myself once in a while, and I happen to love the balcony there because of the leg space. You are right 18 Euro is pretty much the top price you might end up paying...I keep wondering if there isn't a cheaper option for Nalf, or at least cheaper seating.

At last the origins of the baby goat mythos! This should be required viewing for all Nalf Subscribers. You’re really good with animals Nalf, you must miss having one. I get it, you’re gone for months out of the year, taking one back and forth is stressful for animal and owner, Leo ❤️ is used to being large and in charge, unknown if your home in Germany allows pets, etc. Someday you’ll be able to have one again, I know it. You got a touchdown?! Dude, YOU RULE. Who needs receivers when y’got linebackers. ATHLETE. 👊 3D glasses have an edgy look that’s working for you. 😎 I would guess that Deadpool 1 and 2 is really more your speed than the Avengers, maybe Guardians of the Galaxy. I love Rocket the Racoon, he’s my jam, and Deadpool is the BEST. Like in Deadpool 2 where he recruits random people for his backup squad that can’t really do anything. Gotta love it. I appreciate the encouragement you’ve been giving for working out when you don’t feel like it. I miss the gym and have been struggling a bit with discipline during lockdown, we’re still in it. I was going about 6 days per week and doing cardio as well as weights daily, but even when we’re able to go back (expected soon) I don’t think I’m going. It’s basically a Coronavirus petri-dish. I think we’re somewhere around 121K deaths now, the latest estimate is 200K by September. They’re opening back up for the economy. People are violating the rules left and right at the supermarket, I can’t even imagine the gym. We’re no Germany. So I got an incline weight bench and some girly weights, and I’ve been walking the neighborhood at night when the temp cools down, fishnet stockings and soliciting the occasional passerby and car being optional. Cardio’ s been fine, see the aforementioned supplemental source of income, I just hate free weights. At the gym I used assorted machines, particularly the cables. It used to help being surrounded by the guys in the weight room, they work SO hard. Inspirational. So last night I thought of the video where you did a full body workout even though you didn’t wanna, and the game you played with the flu. Then I went and worked out. #Nalfhelpful

Dude, I really like watching your videos. I do however have two suggestions for you: 1. Make your titles less clickbait-y. No all-caps, a bit more specifying what actually the topic of your video is. You don't need clickbait, your videos are cool the way they are! 2. When learning German: stop thinking of umlauts as "letters with accents". Ä, Ö and Ü are three additional letters; the German alphabet technically has 30 of those (together with ß). The umlauts actually have a totally different pronunciation from the letters a, o and u, and thinking of the umlauts as different letters helps you remember that they have a different pronunciation. For example, Gemüse cannot ever be pronounced like "Gemuse". So as long as you don't keep that in mind, your German will be lacking. If you master the umlauts, you will, however, baffle most Germans who think Americans cannot ever get them right ;)
@johnuferbach91666 жыл бұрын
hihp i think his pronounciation problems mostly come from lacking phonemes for ü, ch and stuff? there are certain "building blocks" of languages, as a kid one knew all of them, but forgot the ones that are not part of the mother tongue and learning them later is quite difficult afaik (so the problem isn't just in not making the right sound, but rather in not even knowing how to make the right sound)
@hihp6 жыл бұрын
That's why I am trying to help him by reminding him it's a different sound ^^

First i thought 18€ is a total rip off ... then I realized, that contrary to every other 3D Movie I've ever been to (a lot ...) they use active 3D technologie .... maybe to compensate for the 70s style theater and seating arrangement. Maybe the 3D experience is that much better than the passive system, but since I personally don't particularly like 3D in action movies, I would hesitate to pay that much. Here in Nürnberg I could go on monday for 10,50€ .... also 3D (passive) and OV without subs.

Hey Nick now I'm a fan of the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns. You guys destroy!
