It’s wonderful to see Lucy blossom at the Sanctuary. Goldens are such sensitive dogs and to see the improvement in just a week is a testament to you and your pack. She looks at you with love and the trust is there, you make her feel safe and loved. I can’t wait to see her when she finally let’s go of her past and leaps into her future with the joy I know is within her.💕

I am so glad to see Lucy doing better physically and mentally. I really worried about her when you had to carry her out of the car and when she wouldn't go walking with the other dogs but then I saw the light at the end of the tunnel when she decided to walk with the pack and I saw her spirits lifting. She is doing so well. Yes I saw some back off but that is to be expected being she was abandoned and came from a puppy mill.

I LOVE Lucy so much! ❤️ Lucy looked like she lost all hope in life. It took an Angel 👼🏻 (aka Lee Asher) to show her love, compassion, & security. What I recall observing of Lucy when you had first gotten her was that she never wagged her tail. That has changed. I swear we can tell when we look at a dogs face if they are smiling. Now, I can see it all over her face, it's in her eyes. She's happy. Thanks for sharing. What a change. She well never be abused again.

(All animals are babies to me.) in my heart I know I was born to rescue these neglected animals as well, so seeing someone else do it fills my heart with joy. What amazes me most is how a large pack of dogs, all with a difficult / sad / broken pasts and all different sizes and ages, just get on beautifully. I do know why, it’s the pack leader who makes everyone feel safe and loved. It’s a gift, a true golden heart and it only takes each dog a short while to realise that. Thank you for being you, for saving / changing/ restoring / loving each and every dog that is so fortunate to find you. PomPom will always be my favourite, but Miss Lucy certainly comes a close second.

Her face is radiant with love! She has made such a quick turn around. Animals usually recover so fast. They are good examples for us humans. I wish we could learn to let go as quickly and easily as our animal friends do. I really think the pack helps a lot. If it was just her and you, it might not happen so quickly.

Abused animals.. animals adopted from a shelter.. it took me a YEAR to become a somewhat tolerated friend of an elderly chihuahua an acquaintance asked me to take as she moved in with her boyfriend who didn’t want any dogs in his expensive house, few years after she had adopted that dog from the shelter… I had always been a cat person so didn’t understand how different the relationship is.. this chihuahua was so depressed for so long.. and it’s also not easy to bond with an animal that hasn’t been with you from a little puppy or kitten.. that comes to you at 9 or 11 years old, with all kind of problems the former owner told you nothing about.. but it teaches you SO SO MUCH

I foster small dogs rescued from puppymills. When I get them they know nothing about the loving touch of a human hand. They have never been on grass, or had the space to run. Wow she has come so far and that is what love and patience will do! I cried literally through her whole 1st video, and am once again crying but this time is it's tears of pure happiness!! She's such a sweet girl and has really come out of her shell and that's awesome!! Lee truly has a gift. He allows himself to be completely open to each and every animal that he comes in contact with! I remember when Sarge 1st came into the pack and wanted to stay as far away as he could, and definitely wouldn't go up to Lee, and now when they go on their walks, I've noticed he always goes to Lee! It's like he's a young kid going to their dad just to check in and making sure everything is okay!! I'm so grateful there is a human out there like Lee!! Oh yeah, I would love a update on Princess and the Cria!!
