Another thing you might do is have a small notebook/notepad (analog based) so you can write & cancel things when they are done. I do think it makes more sense to hang around the planet, build up the resources you need, get the princess quartered. That would also allow you to have dark material to go wherever next.

Recycler will also recycle microbes (something i learned by accident) so you may want to see what you get, the microbe composter thing will turn them into compost (tip different color microbes give different grades of compost i.e 30%, 50% and 70% etc), composter takes 10 soil or cosmic jelly to make compost… …. A few tips to help with friendships, try figuring out loved items i.e someone with stained coffee mugs might appreciate a fresh coffee from time to time, I’m not sure but i think giving gifts on birthdays etc gives a boost…. Tips to help in general, copper, aluminium etc is best to hoard as best you can, stocking up on feed will become more important once your xeno(s) hatch but the feed bin with an upgrade can make it less grindy, upgrading your tools should take point and imo upgrading in pairs is best i.e ship tools then planatside tools, the hoverboard will help speed up travel on the ship and now that you are heading into the harder stages of the game it becomes more useful, the holodeck can passively restore energy for free also the name on the sign at the beach is worth a giggle or 2, kitchen is worth it as you can craft better food for both health and energy and some crew really appreciate it if you make them a meal, automating farming will make exploring easier, hoard microbes atleast 2 of your crew will love the ones associated with farming (root and soil iirc)…. I’m about 1 planet ahead of you but I’m enjoying watching you play through, i hope I’m not ruining your fun with my tips, i just want to help a bit cos you like to keep your vids at an hour and some of this stuff takes a fair bit of trial and error due to how many objects are in the game.
