During my first playthrough and seeing the Christmas date with Yukari, I had to pause for a second to check if I correctly heard what she said in regards to Junpei not being one to have a romantic evening. There are lines you do not cross and that was one of them.

@@ayouxyA teenager concluding something about a feeling is not the issue. She’s consistently a dick to Junpei over pretty trivial things. Furthermore, being a teenager doesn’t excuse this, and using this excuse doesn’t actually add any real depth to her being an asshole. Oh yeah, and most of the other teenagers in the same game don’t act as insufferable. Being a teenager does not work as the antecedent for being an ass. Now that’s not to say her being “cold,” to others isn’t occasionally justified(Like ignoring Ryoji making an advance on her after it was made apparent that he was doing this with every other girl.), but most of the time Junpei will just be making a quip, talking about a girl being hot, or in a few cases: dictates mockery of him justified when he’s not even talking or doing something(Not meaning inactive or lazy. I mean he’s literally not even doing something wrong, and she’ll either assume he is, or just make fun of him anyway somehow.)

I somewhat disagree, but I do understand where you're coming from. I think Yukari constantly getting irrationally upset is what makes her character growth so much better. Because of how much hate she and her mother got for what her dad did, she constantly gets defensive over things that don't seem like a big deal to others. And she definitely realizes the way she acts isn't right in the social links when she attacks the MC, who barely ever talks. As I progressed through the game, I found it a lot harder to find these clips because there were more instances where she realized she would take things too far, which I found really cool

@@littlebabyman8494 yeah no, I don't like her too. I like Fuuka as a character best (at least from the main squad. My real favourite P3 character is the guy in the park. If you know, you know). She was the only one who, when maxing her social link, she didn't just give me some random item she owned, instead, she noticed that my protagonist uses headphones a lot and decided tk gift me a higher quality one.

i love her for shooting back at junpei every time. to me, junpei is the most annoying character in the story (even more than teddie in p4), having ugly episodes way too many times being jealous of MC, lousy grades but having nothing on his mind but girls and slacking off. i know yukari has ugly moments too but none of it grates at me as much as junpei. as for the xmas comment that was bad timing for sure but you know who else has bad timing? junpei orchestrating the hot spring nonsense while supposedly being into chidori, and then openly drooling over all the female SEES members as soon as the new year hits.

Hold on, I've never played Reload but Portable is an absolute goto game for me every now and then, it feels like they made her a lot more violent in her outbursts in Reload lol, at least seemingly more so than in Portable.

Because there are people who understand Yukari's character and values that both her flaws and strengths are what makes her an interesting well rounded character so to people like me the good outweighs any of the bad.
