People seem to keep forgetting that The Great Seal and the "Universe" Arcana isn't a power to destroy or dominate because it didn't destroy Nyx, it's a seal that stops her from hearing humanity's desire to give up on life and his own answer that life is worth living despite everything he lost. Both Yu and Joker have these answers too albeit different from HIM with "The Truth beyond the fog of desires" and "Rebellion from the shackles that hold him down" respectively. It's not about how strong it is, It's much do they believe its the right thing to do.

Not sure I get the persona choices here. P4 was clear, Izanagi, Izanagi no Okami as his own Persona with Kaguya, Kohryu, and Sraosha there because they're rank 10 from the social links for Mari, Dojima, and Nanako respectively. All three are people close to the P4 protagonist, and are appropriately representative of him. P3 has Orpheus, Thanatos, and Messiah because they're his, but Attis and Siegfried puzzle me. Attis is from the Hanged Man, which is Maiko (girl at the shrine) and Siegfried is Strength who is Yuko (sports club manager), neither of which seems of particular singular importance to the MC. Honestly if I was choosing I think I'd got Norn and Metatron. The former is Fortune which (at least in Portable) represents Ryoji and the latter is from Aeon which is Aigis, both of whom seem actually personally relevant to the P3 protagonist.

Norn wouldn't make much sense too, it only represents Ryoji with female protagonist, Makoto's Fortune social link is still Keisuke, and he's just a random classmate. But honestly, this is a problem his social links have, he's not really close with any of the male characters, and most females he can't have a platonic relationship, so picking which of his max rank personas would be complicated, it's surprising enough they went for Siegfried, but yeah, not going for Metatron is weird, and if any of the other females were to be used, it'd make more sense to be either Cybelle (Yukari is the only girl who has a crush on him no matter what, and The Answer can make it look like he went far enough in her social link, though it's moot how much, her jealously makes it look like it wasn't that far) or Melchidezek (Chihiro's cameo in P4 confirms he did her social link for long enough, but again, moot how much). I was thinking that maybe Siegfried was picked because he was one of the better Ultimate Personas in P3, but if that were the case, then Odin should've been picked too... So it sounds like Atlus either picked Siegfried at random, or they're confirming that Makoto became a lover with Yuko.

From what I know it's based off their anime counterparts where Yu got his personas from his bonds with people & Makoto got his personas from defeating the full moon shadows. Strength & Hanged Man are arguably the strongest full moon shadows the SEES has faced (not including Death) and that's probably why he got Siegfried & Attis with him.

A futile effort, and that's intentional. Humanity will always desire a permanent end to their suffering, so Door-kun's job is an eternal one. He gave his life so that others could live theirs. He knew that attempts to revive him are in vain, and that's what gave him his answer in the first place.

@@sigmaenjoyer7020 That's an interesting idea. So interesting, in fact, that that is probably the only way I can see Door-kun coming back to life. I wouldn't like it thematically, but it would make sense in the logic of the setting and character of Elizabeth. Also, no, the Metaverse is gone, so there no more phantom thievery. Also, they would never change the hearts of people who weren't a big issue in particular ways. A giant part of the conflict in the group is in how they judge people as a group on if they need their heart stolen, and that it must be a unanimous decision. A person that is just normal ,which includes how they crave for their suffering to end through death, that alone is not a reason to steal their heart. Stealing hearts is, in reality, removing a person's ego. Even if the Metaverse were still a thing, you cannot change how humanity fundamentally sees the world, nor should anyone have the power to do so. Suppressing the free will of humans would easily turn the Phantom Thieves into the worst thing to ever happen to humanity, instantly. That'd be worse than even what Maruki was trying to do.

@@Poet482 not so much as suppressing humanity's freedom more like make all humans appreciate their life so they are not hastily seeks death, they don't have to eliminate destructive nature of human but lessened to the point that Erebus have no enough power to influence Nyx anymore. Metaverse is just like TV world is just another part of Collective Unconscious and they will always exist as long as Collective Unconscious exist so I doubt it's really gone, just like how TV world still accessible even after Izanami is defeated.

@@sigmaenjoyer7020 I can respect that interpretation of Erebus and Nyx possibly being held back on their own. It *is* possible, I guess I'm just personally cynical about humanity's glaring flaws, so I can't picture it happening. As for the game, itself, it ends with an oddly optimistic outlook, so that adds to your point's credibility too. Let's just forget about The Answer, though, lol. Though the collective unconscious will always exist as an abstract concept, the Metaverse Nav is permanently gone at the end of P5, much like the Dark Hour at the end of P3. Granted, they can always contrive a reason for its continued existance if they really needed to... though that would suck in its own way. They made it work for the final dungeon in P5R, but I can't see it ever truly returning. Granted, this is also the series that made a canonical dancing game out of P4 where the TV world made it so shadows could only be "defeated" by unifying their hearts through dance... so anything is possible lol

They shouldn't have given Makoto/Yu's Personas weaknesses, it makes them way to easy to beat alone let alone with a full party. And they should've given them maybe 2 actions per turn so they can get multiple attacks in since their damage output on a decently leveled party isn't amazing

Actually they should just make if you not beat them in the time span or some turn span they will cast something like megidolaon or armageddon that can instant kill them. I mean the whole game is actually just too ez even thought i play in hard in my first playthrough i think it's just ok to give some hard challenge in the game. (If you know what i mean)

Passione Nera I'm grateful for what we got, but that doesn't mean I can't critique it, nor does it mean I'm angry. It's just a bit annoying that the fights are really just your party smacking Makoto/Yu like they're punching bags for 20 odd turns.

I think using forget skills or forget items (if theyre a thing, cant recall) would be way more effective seeibg as he heals by quite a bit if you put him to schleep

Everytime I fight them and I see both Yu's and Makoto's animations, with the music and hearing them, just makes me wish for remakes of both games even more.
