As a mom....100% THIS. Unsolicited advice is abundant as a new mom, but do what's best for YOU. There really is no right or wrong way as long as baby is safe and happy and fed. You do you, mamas!

i'm really happy for kelsey and i respect her decisions so much, with that being said, i still think that sharing their son's name instead of using a placeholder name (like jordan and mckay do) is still dangerous. you never know online what people are capable of. but now that it's been shared publicly there's no going back

The way you talk to your animals and to Otis (all your sweet babies!!) shows how much you adore & care for them. It's kinda moving in a way. This has made me so confident that when I have babies I can still do the little things that make me feel like myself and I can still be my own person. That was such a fear for me. Im so proud of you Kelsey you are such an amazing Mommy 😭😭

Idk if this is helpful for you but I was told by a mother that our babies dont come in our life to make it harder, they are joining us. Things will feel difficult sometimes but thats because its your first time having a little human depend on you to survive!! So its okay to have this fear, its only normal.

I don’t ant to rain on your parade at all, just set realistic expectations. Kelsey and Cody work from home for themselves which is a HUGE advantage when you have a little baby. If you have family close by that are willing and able to help regularly that also helps too. Being incredibly careful who you chose to have kids with also helps!
