@@DreamInspired It will never happen. The best advice is to trust your gut when bring on drivers. If they don’t connect with you, then move on to the next one. Monitor everything they do, including ELD. Have them send you pictures of every load before they leave the shipper. Also, do an orientation with them before start. And check their background. However, if you are sitting behind the wheel, it will make it more difficult.

You’d be surprised lol, I’ve got some stuff up my sleeve. Involves almost no liability. Just takes some up front cash to get the all rolling. I don’t speak on things I haven’t done myself yet tho so when I make the move and get some experience, I’ll let people know

Throw money... I’d never. But educate on making retirement investments, I’ll tell people that all day. Money is a tool. Finding the best way to use that tool to make more of it is the goal. 🏆💰

Definitely. But are we talking about taking a job or opening a business? If you’re an employee, you’ve got a lot less liability but you leave a lot of profit on the table. If you own the business, you’ve got a ton of responsibility. If you’re going the owner route, the most important question is can you treat a business of your own like a real business, because if you can’t, you’ll fail fast. Too many guys think money comes fast and you’ll be a millionaire in 6 months. If you’re looking to get started, my advice to everyone is to have their personal bills all paid ahead for 6 months to a year and have $15-20k cash in hand before even setting up your LLC.

Never been a company driver. But while I started my company with zero experience, I don’t recommend that route lol. If I could have done a year with JB Hunt or Werner or Schneider... That’s definitely something I would have added to my past. Learning on the job is great, but that experience on their belt would have made my venture much better
