Жыл бұрынI'm so done with online dating.. I gave it a good, fair shot. So let's laugh together with some of these dates I went on.. and hope I never have to download these apps again
If you are contemplating online dating.. please be very careful. Here are some of my best practices:
- meet at a public place with multiple exits for the first date (& maybe second)
- do not let them pick you up for a first date
- share your location with somebody and tell them before you leave and where you expect to be
- don't get too attached to anybody before meeting them
- get to know more of their character before FaceTiming
- first dates out to coffee/drinks are ideal because you can talk for 30 minutes or 5 hours, depending on how it goes. Be careful agreeing to a "locked in" date that will take half a day
- people are not always who they say they are... protect yourself and NEVER feel obligated to give anybody anything. Ever.

I’m so glad I don’t have to date in these times! I met my husband on April Fools Day 1976, when introduced,he shook my hand and I literally heard a voice tell me,I had just met the man I was to marry! We did marry on July 31,1976, yes short time to know a person but I have never regretted a day in my life with him, we have been 50/50 partners since day one, he makes me laugh daily and he’s always got my back! Your MAN is out there and you never know when you will cross paths, I love watching your videos, keep laughing and looking!

My experience with online dating was no one can get anyone’s full attention. Especially in bigger metro areas. Everyone is getting messages from so many people and it’s hard for anyone to decide on who to focus on. Each time you login, there is more new people messaging you or responding to you. But all those people are experiencing that exact same thing, it’s like everyone is constantly distracted by someone new

Good grief I related to your experiences so much. I'm 29 and am also taking a break from trying the online dating apps because it's emotionally exhausting. I can also tell really quickly how I feel about someone! And I have some stories, lol. But very thankful I've always felt safe and respected. Thank you SO MUCH for sharing! This gave me a good chuckle today.

Your truly inspiring and I love that your living your best life and always putting your faith in him first. I gotta say my favorite part of this video was you saying how you hoped the guys who didn’t work with you would find the right person for them. It’s a refreshing stance. I have also tried the dating app thing and something I’ve tried to work on is praying for the guys I’ve talked to that they will be able to grow in their faith and meet the right person for them too. This helps me deal with the disappointment of them not being the right person for me, if that makes sense 😂

That’s what I struggled with finding for the longest time, but God brought me the right guy, out of nowhere :) you’ll find your person!! It all happens in His perfect timing 💕

Oh please. A lot of men complain about having few options but the things most of these options are pure trash so it is like having no option at the end of the day.

It’s really thought having all these options, knowing you can only choose one at a time because you’d be a slut otherwise then devoting all your attention to one guy inviting him over, buying him dinner, baking for him, offering to pay for a ride, then having him cancel on you at the last minute for a 4th time in a row because he doesn’t feel like it anymore.

I’m not attracted to many guys either, I passed on sooo many and I online dated for years! I finally gave up online dating because every guy that contacted me was a scammer but now I’m 44 and don’t care anymore if I ever get married. 😂

For all the stories and complaints… women have all the choices online. They have 10,20,50 etc guys to choose from in matches. But they always choose the guy who looks fun and has many pics of vacations etc. then they wonder why is this guy not focused? Well because he just wants to have fun like a girl. The world is done.

I would try to say just that - I’m sorry to say this but I’m not feeling a connection. And usually they agree or understand but sometimes they want exact reasons why not.. or they disagree and think there is a connection. And those are the tricky conversations. But I think being honest is always best.

Im pretty sensitive to other peoples feelings so it’s hard when I have to let someone down. I haven’t been on as many dates as you….as an introvert I feel like it would be too much for my sensitive little heart😂🤦♀️ But I throughly enjoyed hearing all your stories!!!

It's rough out there online dating. Aside from that, do you think you fit the definition of demisexual? I do, and have never ever felt quick attraction to anyone. I've faked it, but for me attraction comes 2, 3, 10 dates later... basically after the surface level stuff is out of the way. By then, most people just assume I've friendzoned them. Which gets even more complicated later because that's also when I'm finally starting to feel those sparks! It's so annoying!

I had to look up demisexual and I am the polar opposite of that haha I can know immediately if there is potential. But I’m sure you’re not alone in that! That will just be something you will need to communicate to your potential ladies so they understand where you’re coming from.

@@HeavensAudventure Oh, I'm definitely a communicator when it comes to dating. Too many pitfalls if you dive in too fast and don't communicate quirks and boundaries. Like you said, you don't want to end up with parents coming up to you in church after the first date.

Few years ago, a girl-friend gave me the # to her BFF. I began texting and got several responses, but something seemed off. Finally, im like "is this Julie", the reply was "nah, this is Dan". I apologized, but he wanted me to continue messaging lol. I didnt My friend gave me the wrong # (off by one digit), but it was a nice ice breaker with Julie, who is still a friend.

It had consumed too much of my life, and all I was getting from it, was a broken heart and or great disappointment. I am in my 50s now, and I have been much happier since I quit dating.

I had the same kind of dates, then decided to just take it easier and not initiate discussions anymore. If guys wanted to initiate them, I'd reply if their picture was acceptable and not like like a psycho... then that's how I met my husband. So you never know, it can be a matter of luck.

I am dating someone online and oh wow I look stupid! truthfully its through playing games and I never done this before. we end up liking each other and started out so fun and yes I really got to like this person but some how I made myself look like a nut job! I not even like this in person. I am somewhat shy but online it feels like a whole another ball game.

As a devout catholic, I can 100% relate to this video. It's frustrating to keep failing on finding that special person but God has a plan for everyone! Keep being you. Also your videos helped me get through the CPA exam. Your videos always make me laugh. The next guy "Marathon", no he doesn't run marathons had me dying.

When relationships don't work out, we always tell ourselves it's not our time or it's not the right person... 😔 Do you believe people actually get to choose their lover/spouse or does God/nature intend for us to be with a particular person and if it's meant to be, we will cross paths with them somehow? 🤔

We absolutely get to choose our person. God allows us to have free will but I don’t believe in soulmates at all. There are many “right” people we can be with but what’s most important is us being the “right” person. When two people are wholeheartedly seeking God, they grow closer to each other. The hardest part is waiting on God’s timing but His timing is always right! Be patient and stay faithful. It’ll happen :)

I'm glad I watched this because it proves that no matter who the person is, just because someone has God, principles, values etc...a man should realize to not do the things these guys did to you Heaven (I'm one to talk, this goes for me too). This video and from what I heard from my people concludes we should control our emotions. Great person or not as a man, this is how the story goes. Like last Monday, I was shopping for a door stopper at Dicks and wanted to get a smoothie. I wanted banana and peanut butter with a shot of protein because that slaps. Then, I see this pretty dirty blonde sitting there staring into the abyss bored. I walk up and say "man, you must be bored out of your mind" then she says "I am" then I say "well, I'm here to save the day" and the whole time she made my smoothie, I made every minute count knowing that would be the last time I would see them. That is how the story should go (she even said the smoothie I got is the same as hers which I was like "Kay" lol)
