Respect the humility. You aren’t a failure when you’re able to self evaluate and learn from mistakes. Especially when it comes to the life of another creature.

Yeah it sucks to fail on the internet but if it can help someone else then I will embrace the humility. Thank you!

Don’t give up bud these things happen and you learn from your mistakes and now you know what to do next. I wish you the best luck with the next ones and things will get better. I also think it’s important to share these things so others can learn as well

So sorry to hear about your babies! Each species has its own unique needs and challenges. I went through this with baby jumping spiders and banned kuhli loaches. I manage plenty of other exotic reptiles, fish, and invertebrates without any issues and I felt kinda dumb for failing with those several times. I finally figured out the right care to raise those animals but it was a lot of trial and error. I fully support sharing successes and failures because other keepers and breeders will seek out information about what works and what to avoid. It will also help the exotic pet community.

Keep pushing forward and showing us both sides of keeping/breeding reptiles. People need to be reminded that it's not allows great things happening. Sometimes we fail and its okay to do so. It's part of learning. Just have to learn and change things for the next time so you don't fail again. Keep up the great videos and can't wait to see a reptile room update lol.

Thank you as I appreciate that! I’ll make sure to keep pressing record. I’m currently trying shift the style of content and show more of the breeding side and discussions as well not that I have a small enough following to do so. And slightly shift away from the casual pet tuber style. But I’ll still have those style of videos as well because I like em!😅

I respect the fact that you can just admit to your failures. and as you said, don't give up. If you fail and give up, you're a failure, but if you fail and learn you're succeeding.

All part if breeding keep your chin up! If you like the vermiculite you can get course vermiculite that is about the same size as the perlite you can get a big bag from uline

Yep definitely is all part of breeding. That was another reason why I decided to make this video to show people that this part of it and it ain't for the faint heart! Thanks for the tip I really like vermiculite so I'll look into the coarse. I'll see you at the Pacnwrs in january?

When we have are new horns we like to keep them in plastic containers pacifically air seal one because other breeders haven’t had and escapes and neither have we with that set up but we also aim for more of a cage and not just a grow out container like a heathy mix if that makes sense

Man.... I mean this honestly, it took/takes guts to admit a fuck up.... It happens to EVERYONE so.... ty for being a good, well spoken/articulate and self aware dude to share both sides of the coin there. I've raised and bred many things but.... Yeah, mistakes happen and when breeders in general act like they are God for some reason.... some infallible being.... It makes for a crappy experience for both breeder and customer. We are here to learn from each other and share this wonderful hobby.... and the hobby in general (reptiles/inverts) needs more people like you. P. S. Just a suggestion... no disrespect intended, try keeping babies in smaller enclosures temporarily to be able to monitor their feeding, sheds, bowls ECT. It is so much easier to ensure success early on. Keep on doing your thing man, great video.

Everyone makes mistakes and learn from those Mistakes it wouldn’t be right if we were perfect from the start. 4:18 Also you can’t grow if you hold your emotions inside of you let them out think of the positives you have an amazing house amazing reptiles keep going ❤

Dude, thank you so much Tyler for the kind words and you're right! To be honest I feel as if I have been holding my emotions in a lot in my content. Don't get me wrong I've shown my passion, excitement and dorky side a lot in my videos. But I don't really show my other emotions in my videos and I guess just felt like since I don't have a giant KZfaq following people wouldn't really care however, I'm starting to think I've been completely wrong about it this whole time!

It definitely sucks to have loss' Hang in there. I am attempting to raise insects and have weeks where I say it's "Melissa's yard of Death" cause things don't hatch properly. sometimes you can figure out why, sometimes you just don't know what happened.
