Sri Lanka is very calm and a clean country where you can experience the 100% peace. The locals are chill and just minding their own business unlike other south asian countries. And one of the cleanest countries in S. Asia too.

Honestly, man, it's so nice to see our people treat their guests so nicely, and friendly, which expresses that Sri Lanka is a safe place. I enjoy watching many tourists' vlogs to especially see their experiences. The way our people treat is touching. You'll be overwhelmed with the love and hospitality of the people when you travel to villages. Don't forget to explore homemade Sri Lankan organic foods, Have a nice explore. Its much sweater than the water you drink once you crack a regular coconut. 🥥. In Sinhala (national language) we call the regular coconut call " Pol " & Orange one call "Thambili" also know as a "King Coconut". There's another version is available in Green color call "Kurumba". (Another sweeter refreshing drink.) Visit Sri Lanka you will experience many many things! 🇱🇰

Travelers always misunderstood Colombo as Capital city of Sri Lanka. Actually it is the Commercial capital city. But Sri Lanka Capital City is Sri Jayawardanapura Kotte which the city that parliament situated at❤❤

Appreciate your attempt to speak the local tongue wherever you go. Its the most thoughtful way to connect with the locals. I stumbled upon your videos by chance and in the last few weeks, i have seen all of your videos. Very good effort. Drink tender coconut water whenever you get a chance during your tours, its a good way to keep your stomach calm with all the street foods you eat ;)

Glad you had a nice time :) sorry to hear about the scams. Pettah = little India of Sri Lanka. The shopping paradise of the working class 💙 The colourful temple was a Tamil Kovil (hence the similarity with the temples in Chennai). A beautiful piece of art indeed. We have both coconuts and king coconuts. Haven't seen it anywhere else in the world. You two are adorable. Enjoy the rest of your stay!

Quick Sinhala lesson : "mage nama" means my name so when you ask the name of someone else you should say "oyage nama" means your name. so the full question should be "Oyage nama mokadda?" which translates to what is your name. Entertaining video btw.

Gaaaaaah I miss those king coconuts! We had the sweetest lady that cooked for our Airbnb who would bring stalks from her yard and we'd keep them in the fridge (you're totally right they need to be cold!) I definitely did think they tasted better than other coconuts I've had!

@@tutul6918 Sri Lanla has Orange, yelllow, pink, green coconut. You can see Orange and pink one only in Sri Lanka. No where in the world. Pink one is very rare.
