The ending of this video couldn't have been more perfectly timed!! I have been having lots of thoughts and conversations about how I would absolutely love to learn photography to a level of building a business out of it, but for years it has seemed "impractical" so I've never done anything about it. But just lately I've started to take steps towards it! If i wasn't afraid I would jump in and learn photography like I have always wanted to so that I can do something I am passionate about instead of a job just to pay the bills! Thank you for this, it was exactly what I needed to hear today :) congrats on 2 years and here's to many more!

Your fertility clinic graduation, the big decision of picking out the chair for Jackson's nursery, your camping trips with your family, the big giraffe! I was here before you guys started daily vloging. Then I was only watching mostly daily vloggers and I somehow got stuck with Ellie and Jared even before doing daily. Every time Jared asks "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" I get goosebumps and I will start thinking what would I do? Until I heard it from Jared couple of times and then it hit me! It CHANGED me and MY LIFE - Then I was a engineering student in Estonia just living my life as easily as possible and NOW I AM IN AMERICA! I am doing my professional internship in the states for a year! I love the states and my work here! I feel like now is the right time to say THANK YOU Ellie and Jared because I feel like I got my strength and courage from you two, from watching your vlogs and thinking - "What would you do if you weren't afraid?"! Thank you, I really love your vlogs! Keep going and don't forget to take time off for each other and for your family. Because... First things first. ♥♥♥

Woah two years! I have watched y'all from the beginning and it doesn't feel like I have watched you guys for that long 😱 thank you for bringing us on your journey. I feel like a part of your family. I asked myself "what would you do if you weren't afraid?" and I found myself moving to a new city and starting a new college and I couldn't be more excited! It's just what I needed to do to be happy. It's so funny that you're sharing this message of "what would you do if you weren't afraid" today of all days. I just found out that my dream job opened up on the military base I live on. It's part of an organization I've been volunteering with for 3 years and something I would just love to do. I want to throw my hat in the ring although I don't totally believe I'm qualified. But I already feel myself chickening out. but to think.. what if I weren't afraid.. Thanks for the inspiration, Jared. I think I'm going to go for it!

I have an anxiety disorder, that has stopped me from so many things because of fears.. so when you asked what would I do if I wasn't afraid, it really hit me. I would be more open, I would show my feelings, talk more, I would be more like a human rather than a spectator.

Today I did something even though I was afraid. I'm a recent college graduate and I went into an interview today for a position that wasn't really what I went to school for but that I qualified for. I didn't expect to get the job at all, but 30 minutes after I left the interview they called and offered me the job. So because I did something even though I was afraid I know have an amazing job fresh out of college making more than my parents do! Thank you Ellie and Jared for doing daily vlogs. A few months ago, I asked myself what id do if I wasnt afraid. I have been through a lot this past year with a job i hated, the passing of my mom, and in a place i wasnt happy and wanted a fresh start. so I left my job and drove from Florida to Utah to live. no friends, no family, no job. ive been here 3 weeks and just started my new job, I plan on starting school again and waking up everyday saying its gonna be a good day. its such a great learning experience when you take yourself out of your comfort zone. you learn so much about yourself. I want to thank you guys for being such great role models to everyone who watches your vlogs. im so thankful for you!

Thank USE for uploading videos to youtube for us all to watch, i actually only started watching you guys about 5 days ago as i only followed one family on youtube before I found use (thanks to my 8 year old daughter hehe) anywho im so glad i did start watching use i cannot wait for your videos each day and thank you for looking after your wife, kids and house so well while they were sick like you said you may not have done it well in the past (like many partners) but the fact you stood upto the challenge and showed how much you love her is wonderful. hope everyone is feeling much better now.

I hope Ellie and Calvin are doing better today! I am a relatively new subscriber, but I love you guys. I started watching a few videos here and there when I was diagnosed with PCOS January, 2015. I love the hope and comfort you both have brought me. And I love the way I get to watch you're family grow and enjoy your lives with you. I am not a Vlogger or Blogger or any of those things, but I just wanted you both to know that you guys are a couple of friendly faces even though we will never truly know each other. If I wasn't afraid, I would truly live. I've suffered from a panic disorder since I was young, and I can't remember the last time I felt completely unafraid...even in everyday situations. I can't pick one particular thing I would do if I was not afraid, because not being afraid would be the greatest gift of all. But just being alive is a blessing, and although I live in inexplicable fear most days, the light outshines the darkness and makes it all worth while. There is happiness no matter how much fear you hold on your shoulders, and soldiering on is the bravest thing I know. Thank you for all of the inspiration Jared and Ellie. You have showed me (and I'm sure many others) that there are so many joys to encounter every single day.

It took me almost two years to pick up the camera but I have not stopped since last week and I LOVE ITTTT! My husband and I also have two boys and life gets busy and crazy and hard sometimes. I love taking time out of my day to watch your vlog. Seeing the positive and watching you and Ellie communicate has really helped our marriage in so many ways. So thank YOU for 2 years of vlogs. I can't remember when we started following but its been a while! Also....to answer your question. If I had the tools, my husband and I would certainly vlog our lives. People tell us all the time that we'd be the perfect sitcom. I would love to be able to look back at videos and remember the little things every day. What a special gift!
