One of the greatest gifts my mom ever gave me was my siblings. At her funeral in September we all banded together as we always do, paid equal shares of the expenses and there wasn't any fighting. We were all saying how thankful we are that she gave us each other. We, unlike some kids, never fought growing up. We were raised by our mom as a single parent and she worked so hard to keep us clothed and fed. Many times we literally had no food in the house but we always felt loved by her. Thanks for sharing your feelings on siblings. And yes, as a mom myself, I too find it hard to not step in immediately when I see that my child isn't being included or treated fairly. As a nana of three precious boys I hope they also learn this lesson to always show kindness.

I have an 8 month old and I feel for Ellie when she sits back and watch how things play out when it comes to both Jackson and Calvin. My son is at a stage where he wants to explore the world crawling and pulling himself up and though I want to help him and do it for him, I know I have to sit back and just let it play out. These are things us as parents will always go through. The day I see my son going through sharing issues whether it's with him or other kids, I'll feel just like Ellie.

One of my twins her first year was always in 10th percentile but each year after that she increased by about 10% and now she's more like 40th and she's almost 4! So sweet of y'all to get your grandma an automatic vacuum.. I've heard they work really well and thinking about getting one too!

We have the same tent and we love it. It's big enough we put a card table and chairs inside on rainy days for playing games. You'll make wonderful memories with your babies.
