Tbf with the Kathryn and Levi part it's possible that Levi's feelings grew overtime and that he didn't feel that way at the start

Yes, I think Alex was a bit cynical there. Yes, there are "friends" waiting to take advantage and yes, they tend to be guys, but I wouldn't assume that of the letter writer's friend because there are guys and girls who become friends and don't intend to fall for each other, or guys and girls who value the friendship in spite of (changed) romantic feelings.

Throughout the 17 episodes of this podcast I've disagreed with many of your statements, but I find this format really entertaining regardless. I hope you'll keep making these videos for a while. Thank you for your content!

Yikes, the advice to go abroad for a boyfriend she barely describes. Yes, going abroad can be a valuable experience, but moving in with a guy in a new country, especially his native country, can be a huge risk if it doesn't work out. Does she speak the language? Does she plan to work? How well does she know this guy? Sorry, but moving to a new state or country for a guy can be amazing OR a nightmare you need to escape from. I wouldn't advise going ahead if she doesn't really have a plan and isn't 100% sure of this guy.

As for the last guy, I think online dating isn’t the best form of dating but if it’s the last resort (especially during the pandemic) sure, go for it! Nevertheless, there’s something you just can’t get online that you can get in person!

It’s kind of the only option these days unless you’re an alcoholic and go to the bar every night. Everyone’s at home watching Netflix no one meets organically anymore

😂😂😂, I am guilty of being friends first with a girl that I would potentially date. Sometimes it's not intentionally so, over time I just come to realize that this girl would make an awesome girlfriend.

18:37 Is it wrong to befriend a girl first before going the next step? Guys are considered liars and manipulators and scum if they aren’t absolutely ham-fisted in their approach of women? They need to identify themselves as pursuing her right off the bat? They can’t try to hang out with her without the context of dating first to try and get to know them first, to try and “butter her up” first? It’s 0 to 100, like, right off the bat, to a complete stranger you don’t know yet, “hey, I am romantically (sexually, let’s be real) interested in you, want to hang out?” If you don’t do this, you’re a manipulative scumbag? It sounds like you two want guys to go out on a limb and expose themselves completely, and for what? So they’re completely at the mercy of a woman’s arbitrary first impression of you? If guys want a girl to go out with them while acting in the way you two want, we’d have to impress the girl with what she wants with a guy. One, how would we know that if we can’t be friends with her first? Stalk her? Sorry, “research” her? Find out what people say about her, then do this little dance to impress her on your first meeting? Guys would be completely at the mercy of a woman’s judgement, is that it? And we can’t pace ourselves, slow and steady, “draw them to us” instead of always chasing? All this just so women aren’t hurt. What about the men? The guys that don’t have the qualities that are instant attractors, like being tall, being fit, being rich, or being handsome and charismatic? They can’t be clever and take a more subtle approach? They’re scummy? Doesn’t sound right to me.
@meyeneetuks46802 жыл бұрын
I completely agree. Alexs take was bad on this one. I think theres a sweet spot. If theres a woman that could be potential interest, hang out with her a few times. Then ask her to date. Dont move too fast. But dont move too slow either.
