For this video we decided to do some documenting along the public sidewalk towards the end of the breakfast rush at this Chick-Fil-A location. We got a mix of reaction to our cameras from people in their vehicles in the drive thru lane. The most positive was from a mom & her kids . They were picking up a bag of ice for a party (which I was unaware the restaurant sold). The mom shared some info with us that it was her daughters first day of driving on a learners permit & her other daughter in the back seat was celebrating a birthday. The worst of the encounters came from a certified "Karen" who initially blocked her view in the car with her windshield visor. She then exited the drive thru, parked her car in the parking lot & approached us on the sidewalk . She went into some sort of word salad in explaining how she was uncomfortable. I'm happy to report we had no issues from any of the employees at the restaurant, so for this video Chick-Fil-A get a pass for the 1A audit. Nice interaction with the family in the Montero! Her first question, "What are you filming?", seemed to indicate that she had the typical attitude of suspicion, resentment and entitlement, but next thing she's proudly talking up her newly licensed daughter, and her birthday daughter in the back. She actually brought her 14yo to your attention, so different from the usual "You can't film kids!". That lady was delightful.

Standing within arm’s reach on a sidewalk would be an invasion of personal space, and depending how the camera is held may or may not be “in your face.” It’s no different than seeing a person looking at you from 20 feet away and angrily shouting at them to “get out of my face.” It makes no sense at all.

Now most people feel they have a need to know what a stranger is doing and why .If you don't wanna be on a camera( 1)don't come outside,(2 )don't confront someone videoing because you're not the object of the video( 3)mind your business it's less stressful.😄😄🥰

13:51 really stood out to me. You made an excellent point there. We all choose to do what we want to do and that lady definitely made a conscience decision to interject herself into the video. It honestly makes me wonder if she keeps finding herself in difficult situations in other aspects of her life because of actions like we see in this video. She didn't have to cause a scene at all but she just couldn't help herself. She really needs to work on things like this and do better.
