@@ugurciftci4823 I can tell you are not Italian just because you said "Milan is the most beautiful city in Italy." We Italians would never say such a thing like this, actually we consider Milan as one of the worst cities in Italy in terms of "beauty". I’m from Rome, trust my words.

I am not fond of these games, they simplify and distort the enormous richness of architecture, art, history in my country ...and yours. If Italians had to answer this question with one and only city, it could not be but Rome (I am not from and I do not live there). But, again, it would be a distortion. As for fashion and design, Milan has been the Italian cutting edge in the latest 50 years, very true, and its image is glittering and famous worldwide; but if you go back to the Renaissance or later on, many other cities and areas were important and used to trade abroad. Milan itself had a sort of silk road leading to the Flanders, but it was used by other cities too. For centuries Venice traded its products everywhere in the Mediterranean and beyond; the aristocracy and the sultans in the Ottoman Empire used to buy lamps and other Venetian glass and metal handworks - while at war, of course, since business is business -. As it happens on YT, I guess we could go on debating forever. Just do not trust me: Milan is "most beautiful" and go to Rome. Or go to Italy, just where you feel like, even small cities, even little known regions. Your time won't be wasted. Iyi günler!
