Hi Rene, you sure shocked a lot of people. We are used to his long songs and wish they were longer. We are all addicted…fully….and from about 150 countries…..huge audience. You left us all up in the air searching for a parachute. I hope you are not offended, and will continue with your reactions. When you people react to Dimash (and his longterm idol Lara Fabian), we get so invested in the story and emotions, and then that is all mixed beautifully with vocals and eastern music, and no matter how many times we have seen it, it is still like the first time, and we weep and cry, get exhilarated, excited, goose bumps, shivers, can’t breathe, all sorts of very addictive goings on, ….. and so that is why we want you to let us down slowly….please. To us, he is like a newborn baby to a loving parent. We can’t see enough of him. And…..he is heaven sent, really. Thanks for your honesty.

Thank you for explaining all of that. I think that being used to shorter forms (pop music in the US) I’m mostly afraid of losing the audience because I’m going on and on and on. When I saw that it was 20 minutes long I felt fearful that my video was too long. And you’re right, I am not used to this type of storytelling. It’s all new to me and so I am not trying to offend- I’m trying to spare people from going over my time. I will keep all of this in mind now that you have explained it to me. I absolutely love his message- and I support his courage and am in awe of his talent. I hope that’s obvious. I didn’t know that the song went longer and longer with a new twist. Most songs have been wrung out after five minutes. So this new form (even more broad than musical theatre) is a surprise to me. I’m going to go back and finish the song. I was honestly tired and emotionally drained too- the intensity is quite an experience to react to. Thank you again for explaining all of that.

No I think you can react to a new song back but you can't react more than once to a song video we can't force you to a reactio. İt had to come from within like most other people because he is the best voice in the world and he doesn't deserve to be left unfinished:)

If you think this was powerful, you must absolutely see the MV “The story of One Sky”, which he wrote, produced and acted in. He poured himself into it for 3 years and spent millions of dollars getting done. It is a true masterpiece, and the images will stay with you for a long time.

I completely disagree (that she has to start with easy songs - reference to the origional comment). If this song can't speak to someone who didn't even know he existed, he failed in his composition. Any song should be able to stand on its own as an individual creation. You don't need to understand Dimash to understand this song, as she rightly proved in her reaction (of the 3/4 she did 😅)

Hi Rene. I've read most of the comments. I guess many of the dears were upset. Yet I think they got the wrong idea about the video. I think you do like and understand how complicated Dimashs work is. Maybe u had bad timing today? That happens. I enjoyed the reaction and the breakdown, and I do think you enjoyed it as well. Don't let a few comments discourage you from reacting to Dimash. Dimashs art belong to the world, and you are in this world and part it. you will enjoy it ur own way. I leave you with a few Dimashs songs that I believe they are hidding gems. 1.I only love you. The ending is not auto tuned all his voice. 2.Sawn goose. 3.ocean over time. 4.battle of memory. 5.question of honor. 6.we are one. 7.blizard again. 8.memory That's just a few. He has somany and they are live performances. Hope my comment helps lift some of the darkness that came from other little harsh comments. It is subtitled "Requiem” to commemorate and mourn all those who have died in war and in the struggle for peace, but it is also a vision for the future and a call to action to save ourselves and our world. Raised in an observant Muslim household, classically trained in music, educated in world and Kazakh history, and immersed in literature and folklore, Dimash has a deep understanding of sacred music and the mystic teachings and symbolism of the major world religions as well as ancient traditions, so it is not by coincidence that the first performance of this work took place on September 14, 2022, at the Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan. The written statement at the end of the video is directly from the “Document on Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together” signed jointly on February 4, 2019, by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmad el-Tayeb. Dimash met and spoke with both men at the September meeting and received a medal from Pope Francis for his work. kaztag.kz/en/news/pope-awarded-dimash-kudaibergen-with-commemorative-medal

A serene Mother who does not know what war and grief are, who has not seen the loss and death of loved ones. She will never understand the essence of this video and the call of the song itself, but it won't be for long because the final war of man with man is already near and there will be no winners at all.

As far as i know Dimash is not a song writer, SOS is a song from a French musical from the 1970th. He workes with Igor Krotnoy, a very well known composer. There is a lot of information about Dimash's childhood and musical education here on utube. Try Sinful Passion.

🛑❗KNOCKED INTERNATIONAL MUSIC INDUSTRY ON ITS HEAD.!! and stood on Franz Liszt's shoulders when he composed this Symphonic Tone Poem, diminished symphony thought impossible to repeat after pianist composer Liszt's in the 1800s, which changed music forever so difficult, musically demanding, meticulous and intricate. Dimash composed his, THEN wrote a screenplay, acted it, sang it, produced it, conducted it put it in a movie format and shot it straight into 21st century music history !! LA executives and artists came knocking quick, much talk of awards. Please watch his "film symphony" The Story of One Sky.

In my opinion, she made one of the most insightful analyses I’ve read so far; she reacted to the most important aspects of Dimash’s artistic and spiritual significance. Surely, she is at liberty to react in the manner and time she chooses to. Your dictatorial reaction goes against the very message Dimash coneys through his music and by example of being a kind and tolerant spirit.
