Your best chance of beating Pep & City Turkish is establish an early lead and let City catch you. With a points cushion your teams slip ups and draws don't mean as much. Because traditionally Pep tweeks and beds in new players early season. There is your chance. If you don't take advantage of that City pattern you're done title wise💯

This is progress. Last season 5 points behind 115FC, this season 2 points. Last season they won the title with 89 points and a GD of +62, this season we finish second with that exact same record. Last season we had a GD 17 worse than them, this season we finished with the same GD as them. And all that without our first choice left back for the entire season. Mikel knows exactly what's needed to take this to the next level and win the title. Super excited for next season.

Every other club was supposed to be come around and be stronger this season. Almost all pundits had United and Chelsea in their Top 4. Liverpool did better than them without a doubt, and we were a cut above them as well. And now they'll even have a new guy at the helm. The question is, how do we beat City? This is a good point, but I also think it depends on us as well. Honestly, at this point I'm less convinced that we'll win the league than I am that we'll fizzle out next year. Arteta has been running the core players to the ground, which means our good seasons have been built on an unsustainable foundation. Another season without a big trophy is going to cause a collapse in faith among the key players, and we're back to square one having won nothing.

Then Laporte missed the bulk of the season via injury which meant they had Fernandinho as a make shift CB because Stones was off form and Otamendi was hopeless. Pep and City are beasts....4 in a row, fa cups, UCL....you can argue best team in history of the prem. That being said, 2 seasons in a row now Arsenal have blown it (in the position of winning thee league with less than 10 games left) - I think we weren't ready last year, but this year yes. Home games can be crucial and you have to win or at least draw those, and Arsenal's loss to Villa most recently proved decisive. If they even drew that game, they would have been champions now.

Arsenal only took 1 out of 12 possible points in 4 games vs Aston Villa and Fulham. It would have won the league comfortably if they tool 6 out of 12 points. Arteta's left out Gabriel Magales at the beginning of the season turned out to cost us the title as we dropped points against Fulham and Totenham at home.

I’m pissed not even proud 6 games left claw back 1st place in our own hands and then we drop points cus Arteta decided to go Havertz MF, GJ up top and Zinny LB.
