Thanasis has scored 28 points in a game. A lot of players in the league aren't able to do that The only reason he gets hate is because he is the only 11th or 12th player in a team whose name we know.... The other players are not known and no-one pays attention to them. He far from being the worst player in the league

Thanasis scored 27 points in the final game of the 2022 season in a nothing game, because Milwaukee had locked their playoff seed. The Bucks used SIX players (Thanasis included) in that game. Well...7 if you count Holiday playing 8 seconds for whatever reason.

Once you are able to do that then we can compare thanasis to those players. And btw some of those 10, 11 12 players cant score 28 even in a non important game like the one that Thanasis did

Everyone else plays so perfectly that you seek from Thanasis to average 15 points to win who is by far not the worst in the league btw. And all of this just because of his name and media who only show his lowlights to prove what exactly? A player is not only judged from the points he scores there’s way more than that. Just watch Beverly’s effect and the psychological boost he brings to the team. And don’t forget pal that Milwaukee is what it is the last years because of his name and only. So as a bucks fan you should’ve shown some respect

Based on how they were raised, all of the brothers are extremely family oriented. It’s Giannis’ way of taking care of his brother too by getting him his own bag. I don’t blame him one bit. They’re all loyal to each other, which is dope to me. He even did the same thing with his Adidas contract. He said if there isn’t one for my brother then I don’t want it. This, they ended up at Nike. I salute him for that. His family raised them right.

What's frustrating is why isnt Giannis teaching Thanasis how to ball? Both come from the same parents, similar physical attributes, genetics, etc. Thanasis could be a decent player if Giannis just shows him his moves, or how he attacks the rim, strategies he uses when being defended.

I had the same question, till I saw Thanasis, Robin and Tyty in the same game and changed my mind. I mean, Thanasis is the last to blame for their bench production. Who deserves to be in the NBA and who does not is more complex than simple nepotism. And Thanasis is a nepotism player, like Austin Rivers and Jallen Bronson. Almost every team has a player equal to or worse than Thanasis. Still, it was Horst's decision for Thanasis, Robin, Griffin, Lillard, and Rivers. All to keep Giannis' 1st impressions happy and not make a champion-contender team, so Giannis be happy. What is Thanasis role? I do not know, but the Heat saved Haslem a seat for at least 3 years with no game and nobody questioned his role and impact. Also, the Knicks were to sign Thanasis at the start of the season.

Nepotism is about getting opportunities from a door that is only open to you. If anybody (athlete, political, lawyer, doctor, actor...) come up to expectations, is another story.

A guy has to "prove to be a superstar" and not "give signs of potential superstar" to get a relevant contract. So, either his dad might have helped, or at NY they smocking better things than me. If they were that good of GMs the team wouldn't have only "a risk" for a legit contender roster. Let's be serious. The guy deserves it but the contract didn't land because of his value. Think it reversed. Dad took a risk on his job, helping his son prove himself, as every father is expected to do.

In all honesty sometimes the 11-12 person on the roster could make a difference if injuries occur. We’ve seen other people break out off the bench due to injury or fouls. Thanasis is literally just cucking someone else only because the bucks want to make giannis happy. We all know he’s better than all of us but that has nothing to do with the nba lol.
