I said the same thing before when he was in Jamaica. He wrote back a nasty no to me. And now he's in Trinidad in the same predicament these small island do not play around. Doesn't matter if you're a foreigner or not you have to know their rule even if it's jungle rule. So you can't approach the stuff like you're a real journalist if you're a vlogger. You have to get permission from the government police department in certain neighborhood that you're going into. Not just a gang member but the police themselves. So wherever you go in the world you got to show respect to that country island. Wish him best of luck but this is a high opener for him. @@cromy1778 Because one very obvious plea bargain settlement offer could've been Chris agreeing to some sort of fine payment, perhaps coupled with being barred from re-entering the country. Assuming the presiding judge deemed there to be sufficient evidence to move the case forward to trial, and Chris intended to vigorously fight the trial proceeding. None of which I personally know, but I do know that a key negotiating tactic seems to have been taken off the table by his continued physical presence there.

Clearly, someone involved internally harbors personal animus to Chris, and after a few days they mustered up the departmental support needed to reclaim the defendant's passport. It seems T&T prosecution is making up the rules on how to handle this as they go.
