Follow me on my first day in Trinidad, as I aimlessly roam the streets. Unknowingly, I found myself center in the belly of the beast - Duncan Street with the '7'.

Played soccer in college with 3 different Trini National Team players….Kelvin Jack, and Avery John who played for the Trini World Cup Team and Kevin Jeffery. We all won national championship here in the US. The Trini people love football and were the most solid and fun people to party with after our games.

@sanmarcosSD

@@alwayshappy3186yeah the Trinis I played soccer would often talk about Cricket and say how much better it was than baseball 😂. This led to some amazing arguments with all the players from the states. With that said football is still very popular in Trinidad and their talented footballers often play in European, and American leagues…i.e. Kelvin Jack who played in England, Spain, and Scotland. This like saying baseball is Americas pastime but American football is the most popular game to watch 🤷‍♂️ both very popular. By national team I was referring to the World Cup team which it is called.

Hey Chris, I'm from Trinidad and I can let you know how to get a taxi ride. In Trinidad, we call them maxi taxis or maxis for short. Now the maxis come in different coloured bands. That maxi you took to Charlotte Street in POS is the yellow band maxi which operates in the northwest region in Trinidad (Diego Martin Region), and places like Carenage and Chaguaramas too. There are many coloured bands on the road. These are the bands and the destinations they take you to. Port of Spain-Arima (and onward to Sangre Grande): Red Band (G11) Port of Spain-Diego Martin (or Chaguaramas): Yellow Band (W11) Port of Spain-San Fernando (including Curepe-Chaguanas-Couva): Green Band (W18) San Fernando-Princes Town (and onward to Mayaro): Black Band (W21) South of San Fernando (Point Fortin, Cedros)-Siparia: Brown Band (W22) Tobago: Blue Band (G17) The fares are paid on board and are based on distance. They come in 12 and 25 seater versions. The maxi taxi was introduced in 1978. And yes this is pasted from Wikipedia. I think they're correct.

All those young men are our future daddys , husbands , they are our brothers ,and as such they are a vital part of our ecosystem.Today with advancements in technology the world has become a global community , so what affects one region affects all . I didnt see you in my community , Maloney. One thing about all these young men , they want to be heard , they open up , once they get a platform to .Welcome to Trinidad , the issues you are having are because there was no time for trust to be built before your interviews , once people build trust , they will accept your work .
