It's Derekt fault for not releasing Kate and moving on with his own life . It comes to show him what obsession can do to him . Thanks to Kate's quick thinking , she able to get the police's attention that led to Darek's arrest and the rescue to her and her dog . Thank God for Detek's incarceration , Kate can move on with her life .

Derek shouldn't be wasting his time having 40 plastic surgeries just to get your ex-girlfriend Kate as well locking her in the basement with her dog just to get her to change her mind and take him back because you can't force someone to love you as it doesn't work that way. Luckily thanks to Kate quick thinking the police has Derek arrested and now he has gone to prison because of his obession, I think the real reason why Kate has dumped Derek in the first place because he was controlling and trying to prevent her from seeing her friends and family which is something that Derek has never really though about this or the consequences to his action before he had 40 plastic surgeries.

Love can never possess, love is giving freedom to the other!! Love is an unconditional gift, it is not a bargain!! Don't confuse love with obsession!! You truly love someone only if you have genuine feelings underneath your obsession, or else it's just an illusion of love!!

That almost happened to meee. I have been in such situations where I can't do anything by myself .. I need to do everything according to him , eating, drinking , going out , washroom everything.... It's not a right to take away someone else freedom... God knows what else he did to meee n I would never like to share.... I haven't gone out for few months just because he control my life.. I was Soo afraid to tell anyone because I was blackmail n told not tell anyone or he will harm my beloved one ... It's was a nightmare for whole 2 yrs .... I could cry even thinking of that ... It made difficult to trust anyone again... M still trying to recover from that but at least I'm happy that I face n got my freedom back wht I always wanted to have...but people still judge me as I did something wrong .....
