This video was a fun and unique way to show you the potential of adding laser engraving into your woodworking business. It does cost time and money to get started but once you ge the ball rolling you can start earning a lot!
Most of the things I made are copyrighted and require appropriate permissions to sell so engrave at your own discretion.

Thanks for the informative video, I know it's over a year old, but it's still very relevant. Most of my own hats I've made by buying patches I like and sewing them to Richardson 112 or 115 lids and it never occurred to me I could make this a profitable hobby-business.

Hey thanks for the video love the out of the box thinking, I just got my d1 pro 10w less than a week ago and have loved playing around with it. As a noob I was wondering where you got the design for all the logos and characters. And how you got them on the program. Also what materials did you use? Thank you very much

You can just google search anything that you’re looking for and add the work “SVG” after it. It’s a file type. Save it to your computer and then drag it into your program. 👍🏻 with the diode laser you can engrave on so many materials. It’s best to check the XTool website.

This is such a great idea! I (like many) are starting up as well. I am curious, may I ask how how to sell material like this? Specifically, did you need to get any specific licensing to use Anime and other Game/Geek cultural images? (Coming from a Con/Gaming nerd). Thanks!

Exactly my thoughts. You’re essentially making money off their characters and movies. I would be worried about being sued. I know Disney don’t like it and have come down hard on Etsy shop owners for it in the past.
