European here. I needed 10 minutes to figure out what was the stud finder and why I’ve never seen one here it Italy. At first I thought it was a way to find cables underneath and avoid them, but it couldn’t be so because you were actually looking for that spot. At the end I remembered that the structure of American houses is… how can I say it without being offensive… let’s say very “light”, so you need to find the “not empty” part of the wall before nailing, while in our houses in order to hang something you need to drill in the concrete/bricks wall, put a dowel and then a screw 😅

How did you secure the latch? What I bought has long bolts with a nut and washer and I can’t figure out how to make that work with this design. Any insight is much appreciated! Your calculator is amazingly helpful!
