En Costa Rica nos comemos la panza del animal y le llamamos mondongo y primero lo limpiamos lo cocinamos con condimentos y cuando está suave lo partimos en cuadros le agregamos tomate picado cebolla ajo ají y de nuevo lo cocinamos para que todo se incorpore y queda delicioso

Wow Although I do not get a chance to eat organ meat it looks so good especially when this guy do Mukbang at the end it makes my mouth water.Feeding that puppy and cuddling look so heart warming as well.

You should try to see if your local butcher can put in a special order. Offals have such a wide variety of flavors and textures, compared to muscle cuts. It's like going from a 2-dimensional world to a 10-dimensional one!

Most people I know are more close-minded, but I've learned the following that may help you make your decision: - Everyone loves grilled heart -- it's like a really good steak even though it's very lean. - Everyone loves fried sweetbreads (thymus) if prepared correctly. - The head is also a fantastic starting point. It is like a candy store, and none of the flavors are offputting, except the brain, which is very rich/fatty. I was initially timid about the eyes, but they're actually my favorite part now. - Few people enjoy liver/kidney if they're not used to it. This is why you often see liver combined with caul fat, as Baysaa does. - Wash the intestines very well!!!!

@@Don2006 Thanks for the advice, I will try heart if I can get my hands on it :) But I find it interesting that you say few people enjoy liver and kindey, in Germany these are definetely the most popular offal dishes :D For example, fried beef liver with apples and onions is lovely! "Saure Nieren" (sour kidneys) is a very popular dish, too. But my absolute favourite is kidney goulash, many butchers around here make it and sell it in jars. It's delicious, you should definetely try it! If you'd like, I can find a recipe for that and translate it for you :)
