I think like in settings there will be a button to change theme would be a good idea. So instead of jungle you could have desert, or snow, or village!

suggestion: "disable rotation" should completely disable camera movement, meaning that Player 2 moves *down* the board and the perspective remains constant.

I think it could be nice to use a neural network for the AI and just let it teach itself, at least it is for me since I suck at making AIs

Modding / Resource pack support would be extremely cool, as I'd like to make a custom, more traditional-chess-like model set to see how it would look! 🐿

What about hat customizations? Like you can change the type of hat on each piece and the color of your team? And if two teams are the same color then the second team’s color flips to the opposite?

I like the option to turn off multiple and the rotating animation, but you could also just make the camera stay in the same spot and have player two just play from the same side of the table. Plenty of top down chess games just always have black on top and it makes it easier to remember where all the pieces are if you are always seeing them from one point of view

Aight hear me out on this, this is gonna be a bit of a stretch... Buuuuuut... Imagine if there were certain themes and boards that you could use for this game? Like, you've got an animalistic theme going, but what if you threw in some additional customization by deciding what theme you wanna go for? The theme I had in mind is based around military, and giving them tiny lil' armaments to go with 'em. Pawns - Pistols (Duh, they're not gonna be all that powerful!) Bishops - Snipers (They getcha when you least expect it.) Rooks - Assault Rifles (They're your premier assault class!) Knights - SMG's (Think of Paratroopers parachuting in. Gotta stay mobile, and that's the weapon of choice!) King - Shotgun (A man must protect his castle!) Queen - Rocket Launcher (This doesn't need much explanation, if it's in her line of sight? It's gonna regret it real quick.) Bear - Stays the same because... Well... Bear's there! I know this is a major tall order here, and it probably won't get implemented, but the suggestion is there in case you wanna implement it. Thanks much for taking your time to read this!

I suggest a cat. Cat can only move 1 block. When cat lands on an enemy's piece, that piece and the cat cant move for 2 turns (it falls asleep) and the cat cant be killed.

This is awesome, but I think it would be great if you made more maps (with less details in the texures) and made IAP cuz it well help you a lot

Something i'd like to see is a hatless option that directly changes a pieces look depending on the side. I'd recommend doing it like this. Here is a really good suggestion that can allow your creativity to fly, allow us to select different pieces to substitute the elephant monkey and Crow, they can move different they could change the gameplay so that you can't save the king so you have to make it a priority things like that and it would allow you to let your creativity fly with their movements

I just tried playing and the Rook seems to be unable to capture anything. It can fly anywhere but I've never been able to capture anything with it.

i have an idea Shop: Basically kind of a big deal You can change hats with in game money they wont do anything BUT there are bundles that cost 1000 in game money we don't want pay to win so we will also add a golden crate with golden hats it doesn't do nothing but you can flex on other people also you can buy titles too
