Here’s the quick story I came up with for each of the crowns 1. The crown of an elven princess meant to be worn as a type of camouflage while in a tree hunting a target 2. The crown of the mermaid queen while not designed for battle it’s said that in a Great War fought by the merpeople the crown blocked a trident that would have killed the queen and is memorialized in the three crystals 3. A crown worn by the warrior chief of a human tribe that lived in the dessert it’s said the crown both enhances and protects the user from electric attacks 4. A crown given to the humans from the Dragonborn as a sign of good relations it’s said that the person wearing the crown is altered on the biological level gaining similar abilities to those of Dragonborn as well as wing capable of supporting gliding or in some cases flight 5. A crown made by a wizard for his niece capable of transforming the wearer into a fairy as long as it’s worn
