Hey Dave, Canada has a lot of those pull off areas but we’re way behind on the truck stop game. America has way more truck stops that actually cater to drivers with nice pumps, showers, bathrooms, paved lots. Our truck stops here I find are more dirty, gavel lots. More far apart and less of them.

Dave casually dissin our Canadian Walmarts lmao Not all of them are like that but in the smaller towns/ cities you will usually see the older Walmarts

You have to worry more about the moose than the bear and be really weary those pesky little buggers they call Wolverines. They’ll bite a bears testicles off and not even think twice about it. Enjoy your stay.

I actually rented a Focus, years ago. But one I actually liked. Not the model you have. I don't like the two tone color either. But, I know, it ain't my car. That wouldn't be a beach. It's just a small lake, if not a river/creek. I recently moved from southern Erie County PA to central coastal OR. There are occasional pull offs, parking, along 101, to watch the pacific ocean.

The fact this guy have nice jeep that’s really capable of doing this and he chooses this car is crazy but props to him because I wouldn’t 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Here in Oregon we have a big mall and a target that’s connected like that, but I’ve never seen a Walmart like that or an old outdated one like that either

Do you plan on taking the ferry boat back from Anchorage to Seattle ? There are a few islands in the Southeast with roads and camping they stop at on the way down. You get to see glaciers and whales along the way of the five day trip. EDIT-TO SAY - You can sleep in your car on the ferry and not have to worry about looking for a spot to park.

I know you lost your passion but have you ever thought about driving a log truck where your home daily I get you mean about it being a curse I’m 4th generation been in a tractor trailer since I was six weeks old but maybe it’ll bring the spark back and hauling logs is really fun lol I’ve tried construction and even tow truck and tow truck was fun but can’t get rid of the itch of driving a rig
