Your 100% correct. Go to any card show and sit back and watch who does the most bussiness. Gurantee the small guy selling cards from 1 to 5 dollars ungraded of course. Something about just owning the card is not important than the grade.

I bought a couple of 2013 select hobby boxes last year for about 140 each. Sold them last week for 450 per box. Listed it on ebay and it sold within hours.

I sold a 2021 prestige heroes - Patrick Mahomes II- Numbered 48/50 for $400.00 a while back on ebay.. I swear to god they tryed to hit me with $75.00 in fees, you better bet I contacted customer service and asked them WTF they are smoking! They credited my account back the 75. And told me they only do that once per customer. I was furious! Ive been selling on ebay for 12 years and had no idea that they changed the fees for selling sports cards. I dont think I will ever sell another card of value through ebay! Im looking at different options like COMC, but really not sure. 🤔

Great stuff, Brad. Moved into some serial numbered Tom Brady cards since he is the GOAT in football right now but also a PC aspect with him being in his Patriots uniform. Been thinking of targeting guys like Peyton, Rice, Gretzky, Jordan in a similar manner as there's flexibility in grading such cards in the future and knowing there's only an X amount made/graded.

Still picking up 2020 basketball rookie silvers of the top guys not named ball . Seems like they are forgotten about and essentially 0 graded of a lot of them . Looking to grade at the 150 level and trying to take advantage of the artificial low pop counts on them .

I stick to basketball only (its what I know best). All summer I've been picking up Daniel Gafford silver prizm psa 10's. My average buy price is around 50 bucks a card. I love the way the guy plays. Looks like he's penciled in as the started now, so I'm excited to see what happens.

I don’t agree with selling hot potential cards at break even prices. The Kyle Murray may have been “boring” to you but him and the teams potential is outstanding at the moment. If they do well into playoffs you’ll have lost out and if they don’t, you’d still be able to get out of your investment for what you sold recently,imo.

I bought 30-40 brady 2013 select last year for $3-$11 and still holding them, but I remember looking at those hobby boxes considering to buy one because I knew they would skyrocket in price, but didn't want to spend the $140 for them. I missed big time lol

My focus is mostly the same (Iconic Vintage raw) but also looking into the crystal ball and buying a lot of 1st Bowman Chrome of mlb’s prospects I think are going to make it in the majors.
