I was a bit shocked, but it didn't bother me as much as when he served his roommate and scooped extra ice cream but left a whole blob of ice cream in the pan. He couldn't have scooped that part?

Yeah, it was very unsatisfying, but this is the most chocolaty and fudgy part, whereas the outside gets crispy and can easily dry out...he definitely knows what he's doing.
