@@okreally325 No. Flakey salt was made popular waaaaaay before tiktok ever existed or was even an idea. The modern craze goes back to the 90s celebrity chefs. It got so popular that it spawned an entire industry of artisanal salt producers. Then it became cringe levels of popular. Now tiktok and KZfaq chefs are making it more accessible but also more memeable.

@@Yoruharu have you considered and cook who has respect for the art and their self wouldn't eat that why because burnt isn't edible. But again it's one thing to have a preference but when you're teaching to cook you should be teaching the right way not the burn everything to a crisp so you know it done.

The bread is burnt, making the pan have burnt residue. Then we put onion and apple to absorb the burnt taste from the pan. Yummy 😋

I'm not sure why but this reminds of my family who started a sour dough starter about a year ago and it continues to be better every time. We do variations often and it would be cool to check it out have fun.

This is a modified rustic French recipe. The standard is a French sweet baguette. Grilled. Add sliced d’anjou pear, the SAME EXACT goat cheese because it is bomb as hell, chopped roasted walnuts, and fresh coarse ground black pepper. Put back on cast iron flat in the grill. Let cheese melt and pear soften. Enjoy

@@alalalala57 I think being a chef is just understanding heat and how you use it. This guy seems to love high heat a bit too much, when he put the butter in it instantly started to smoke meaning it’s burning. He then burns the bread, and his onions/apples. You could eat it and you’d live and it’ll prolly be alright but you can’t cover up burnt. It’s distinctly bitter and unattractive.
