I've been looking for a way to make water without resin, clear silicon is getting added to my silly diorama shopping list. Love the evolution lines!

If you can get clear fix. It comes in the tubes same as silicon but it’s a molecular polymer so it won’t flatten like silicone will. You can just add and mix isopropyl alcohol to it if you want it runnier, less if you want it thicker. After 5 mins it will start going tacky and you can use a paddle pop stick to tease it and it will hold its shape way way better that the silicone based ones! plus all the different silicones can tend to react and go white, cloudy or not go off in places depending on alcohol, paints, water, varnishes ect. Clear fix has none of these problems and stays crystal clear. It’s roughly the same price to at about $10 bucks ( the flatter water bits you can just add mod podge gloss to it once dry the blow it through a straw to make ripples) clear fix or clear fx is the stuff you want though. Because all the brands of clear cork or silicone are essentially different recipes even if just slightly they will react to heaps of stuff making it not stick, peel away,not set, discolour ect ect I’ve finished big works then sprained it with a clear coat or vanish and then it reacts destroying everything. Acrylic paints pva glue’s everything silicone is a product made to not allow any thing to mix with it hence its so good at what it does in sealing gaps ect. Clear fix only and you will love doing anything water. Sorry about the long rant it comes from many thrown dioramas against walls and in bins. Have fun

@@Puntehh I first saw it on a war gaming/terrain builders KZfaq called geek gaming which I think is in the uk. But I know he sells it in his online store. He also has videos that go in depth using it and he says in that the stores in America where you can get it. KZfaq.be/uWRRs8-yttU

@@Puntehh I wouldn’t use a different silicone! You will have issues unless you buy the correct polymer chain and they tend to not mention that stuff on the packet. I’m sure either the company who makes it has an Amazon store or geek gaming has one that sells the product. Plus Luke has a very comprehensive tutorial on how you use it thin it ect ect

They're from the very first generation of Pokémon Red/Blue and Green. Squirtle is the water type starter Pokémon you get, whereas Charmander would be the Fire type and Bulbasaur the grass type. Also in the anime, Squirtle was one of Ash's Pokémon

fun fact! blastoise was originally not wartortle's evolution! in 2019 when beta assets from the generation 1 games leaked, wartortle didn't evolve into blastoise, but instead evolved into another, swirly tailed and fin-eared turtle. In addition, blastoise had its own pre-evolution - a much smaller turtle with little bubble blowers instead of cannons, with a little bubble coming out of its nose, like a baby!

So rad. Brings me back to the days when I owned pokemon blue for the Gameboy color. I always picked squirtle as my starter pokemon because blastoise always just looked so badass (also why I picked the blue version). I would always keep him in my lineup out of some weird feeling of duty. Good times

Love this! Not sure how you feel about this, but I like when you incorporate the Pokémon card into the build. I think that is so unique and cool, and I think it would be really awesome to have all the Pokémon you have made have their cards with them. That way when they are all together one or two don’t look out of place. But either way, awesome

Hey Adam, this video is amazing. It wasn't quite what I was expecting but when you explained about Blastoise's body position being off for blasting water, I totally got it. I think it’s interesting that Squirtle and Wartortle originally had a different final evolution, more like Wartortle with the cloud-like ears and tail. Blastoise was originally an evolution for a smaller cannon-toting tortoise. I suppose they just consolidated the two evolutionary lines, as two different water-type turtle families was redundant.

i always thought it was so weird how squirtle and wartortle go from referencing an old chinee myth about turtles growing long furry tails to show they've lived long enough to gain magic powers, to blastoise having barely any tail at all. still love blastoise though, and these statues are phenomenal

ADAM! This project was a masterpiece! I was already blown away by how the pokemon turned out but then when you did the base I was blown away! How creative with the silicone! Seriously amazing job!!!

I'm impressed you knew to dab your finger in alcohol, most plumbers don't even know that! When I was working as a plumbing apprentice my tech was always confused as to how I was able to keep my fingers clean but still get smooth finishes. It's a great trick, especially when you're trying to make something to be proud of. What a wonderful video, thank you so much!

Man I gotta say my daughter introduced me to this Chanel and then I saw this build of my favorite Pokémon creature set it brought me back to playing the blue version on game boy back in the day. I love your work
