I've just bought a mini sewing machine, so I have no idea what I'm doing but watching your videos kinda helps

Congratulations! I hope you will enjoy it 🤩 A quick tip for specifically this dress: if you are using only your sewing machine, set it up to a narrow zig-zag and slightly stretch the fabric when you are sewing. This way the stitch won't break when you will stretch the fabric :) Let me know if you have any questions ❤

Ahhh I LOVE this! I was sort of interested in this dress but don’t want to give THEM my money. I’m already planning what color I’ll make it in, and I may make a few! Do you think it’d work in a spandex?

I totally agree, especially if it is so easy to make for us sewing people 😏 Yes, as long as it has at least 50% stretch spandex will work perfectly! If you have any doubts is the stretchiness is enough or you don't want such a tight fit, feel free to make it in 1-2 sizes larger 🙈
