10:43 Fun fact: the glass is so thick because it is made that way to prevent the glass from imploding because of the vacuum inside. It also helps to prevent yourself from being irradiated by x-rays.

There is no x-ray in CRT screens, just a beam of electrons exciting luminiferous coating on the glass causing it to glow.

For reference, a regulation 8.595 inch bowling ball made out of solid tungsten would weigh about 105 kg or 230 lbs

It's not a speaker at 10:35, it's the magnetic deflection coil for the electron gun. It sweeps the beam of electrons across the screen by alternating the intensity of the magnetic field.

Most of your pieces seems to be tungsten carbide. It's ceramic, not metal, and while pretty heavy, not as heavy as pure tungsten.

speaker? they're actually the coils/electromagnets that aim the cathode ray beam at the corresponding phosphorus lol they also need to be that thick cause they're pretty much vacuum, and don't tear down one thats been plugged in recently, they can and will zap you with over 20,000V and the CRT itself can act like a capacitor storing energy itself

As a really good bowler, I’ve broken quite a few of bowling balls, that shit will absolutely get you strikes everytime but I guarantee you that’ll break
