Considering this is a styling head they really do put the least amount of hair they possibly can don't they 🙄. How you manage to turn them in to what you do is simply amazing ❤

Yes, I really like the doll styling-head repaints. I can imagine this Belle version in the next-gen. animated movie of Beauty and the Beast. Fabulous job! I am really, really looking forward to the Hallowe'en specials!

They require so much hair that it would cost me probably around 100 euro just in hair to reroot one😬Plus a couple of days of work🙈

@PoppenAtelier Sadly I could still see and be distracted by the thinness of the hair. Perhaps you could just augment the “hair” that is there rather than completely replacing it?

It actually looked as if the Belle head smiled wider once the old make up was removed, it knew it was in creative hands. Took the beast and made a beauty. Would like to see a Bellatrix Lestrange for Halloween 😊

i second this, a repaint of the mattel Bellatrix would be amazing because I think they really did Helena Bonham Carter dirty with that face sculpt and the dress could have so many more details on than the mattel one

Gorgeous result, one of your best! To me, she's still like an animated character except she's from a really beautiful, artistic animated movie for adults, maybe. The lip colour is perfect, the hazel eyes are incredible and i love the slight whimsy you added to her expression.

She turned out great, I think what people like about these transformations is the amount of detail in the eyes you're able to do. You're making me want to pick up some of these styling heads and play around with them, I love working on the hair.

Yeah, the hair quality of those styling heads is always so poor... That's why I recommend parents whose kids love playing with hair, to buy real hairdressers styling heads, they are not that much more expensive but they have lots of hair and it's often natural hair that can be curled and even dyed if needed

Belle is my favorite Disney princess. Growing up i had my whole room beauty and the beast themed. I really love her glow up. Especially her eyes. You really captured the beauty that is Belle in them.

She isn't a cartoon Belle - Mattel can do a cartoon Belle. This is an all-but-living Belle. Her eyes are luminous and lovely, and her hair is a vast improvement (although anything would be an improvement on these poor balding styling heads). A work of art indeed. Thank you!

OMG YES.......we most DEFINITELY neex to see you design a JARETH doll from the movie Labyrinth!!! David Bowid was iconic in that role, and how he was dressed during the party/dance scene was SOOOOOO extravagant and beautiful!! Belle turned out lovely. You made the brown in her hair shine instead of it looking dark brown-almost black like it was in the before photo. I'm excited for Halloween! One day I hope you and your mom can tackle Katrina Van Tassel from the 1999 Sleepy Hollow. Her black and white striped dress is iconic (though she wears her blue one with the rose-patterned silk cloak most of the film) and Christina Ricci (who plays her) has a unique face. That said, I like all the wonderful repaints you do!

I know you like divination / manifestation oracle readings , so, maybe you could make a doll based on your favorite tarot card deck! I had a few friends who tried this during March, and they created dresses and outfits inspired by the created tarot cards. That is just my favorite idea suggestion for you ( I'm sure you'll like it). Another idea suggestion is spirit animals! You can make your favorite spirit animal (or create a poll asking everyone to pick their favorite spirit animal, and you make those). You could make this a mini series if you wanted.

I have been obsessed with the new Little Mermaid. You should do a challenge where you take the classic Ariel version of this head and turn it into the beautiful Halle Bailey’s Ariel complete with her lovely locks. Since it’s now streaming on Disney+.

I love the lashes you chose for her! I thought I was going to miss the tiara accessory she wears around her bun, but in the end result, you got such volume (with so little hair) that it was perfect! I never understood as a child, why these Barbie styling mannequins were made with so little hair and such wide swaths of nothing!! Wasn't (Isn't) the point of these for children to explore and learn hair care and styling!? I always wanted these, and I was always so disappointed by the utter lack of realism, even at the age of six! Haha!
