THIS woman has moved countries to marry a man on death row. Sigrid, 39, lives in Florida with her nine-month-old son. She is a long way from her native home of France, where she once had a large support system of family and friends. Since moving to the states three years ago to marry a man on death row her life has been turned upside down. Her husband Alan is in a prison a one hour drive away from her, where he has been incarcerated for the past 15 years for first-degree murder and robbery. Sigrid explained how they met: “I started writing to prisoners because I believe in second chances and rehabilitation.” She became Alan’s penpal, only looking to be his companion, however, after conversing for months, their relationship began to evolve. “When I started to realise that I was having feelings for him, and him for me, we both got scared,” she said. “We tried to stop writing to each other, [but] we were both miserable. After six weeks, he wrote back - the first words were, ‘I love you'.”

His name is Alan Wade, and he bound and buried an elderly couple alive. When they were discovered by police, the couple had broken out of their binds but were only able to hold each other before dying. They died of suffocation. Alan Wade had time to think about what he was doing to this innocent couple while he dropped shovel after shovel full of dirt on them. Truly evil. RIP Carol and Reggie Sumner.

Like, yo, what?! This dude burgled and buried an elderly couple alive for money that never existed. There's multiple true crime docs about this. I don't support the death penalty, but he's on death row for a reason. He's had his sentence commuted to life last year, but this dude still did a monstrous thing for no fucking reason. And he doesn't really seem that sorry for it. Also her description of their romance/relationship sounds so creepy and dysfunctional. "I was miserable and he was miserable, but we made each other happy." Baby, that happiness is just the same chemicals people get from strangers online when they "like" your photos. This was a man you thought wouldn't/couldn't respond to your letters so when he not only responded, but eventually "reciprocated" your feelings you thought this was love. Bottom line. Seek therapy. Get that baby a real step-daddy. Live a better life.

Seriously, you can't read about what happened to that poor couple Reggie and Carol Sumners and not feel horrified about what they went through. Those people that did that to that couple are where they need to be. Fancy, calling that man a good person even though he drove the car interstate with the those two innocent people tied up in the back and they just dumped them buried alive and took their money. That man does not derserve a second chance.

It is really sick. It's interesting how she speaks about all of this, though. I know the show is technically about her and her murderer husband, but all I heard was "me me me me me poor me". "People judge my relationship because they don't like me being happy and loved". No girl, they judge your relationship because you decided to be with a cold blooded murderer. If she actually cared about Carol and Reggie, she would've given them they attention they deserve in this story as the victims that they are. You can tell that even though she seems nice, she's pretty narcissistic and all she cares about is herself, so I think maybe they are actually meant for each other.

Alan Wade had 3 co-defendants so he did not do this by himself. Tiffany Cole should have gotten the DP. Cole's father was friends w/ the Sumners'.

And the line “this is something I never would have wanted with anyone else” makes me want to throw up. Really? You wouldn’t rather have a marriage and baby with a man who never killed anyone? That to me isn’t even the weirdest part (though yes it is weird). But the weirdest part to me is how you could possibly love someone who brutally murdered two innocent people. It would be one thing if they had a relationship before this happened, but she didn’t know him until he was already in prison. Not allowed to have sexual relationship. She said she doesn't want to say how he was conceived. Had to been sneak in the bathroom during visit or he somehow passed his ejaculatate to her during visit. Majority of prisons don't allow conjecal visits nowadays.

Prisons don't allow sexual relationships when the inmate is on DR. That is why she would not reveal how the son was conceived. No doubt people were paid money 4 them 2 have sex or his sperm was given 2 her in a condom. My guess is a trustee or other inmate was paid 2 be the lookout. DR inmates are not allowed family visits in any of the 6 states that have them (conjugal visits).

I know the name of the channel is "Love Don't Judge", but I do. This woman is bored, fantasizing about a more exciting life. It's like those women who sent letters to Ted Bundy. She has hybristophilia, a type of paraphilia that affects women, causing them to feel attracted to delinquent and murderous men. The only sensible people in this video are her family who she pretends not to understand their rejection. This man is where he is because HE chose to be. Second chances are in other contexts like theft, I don't know. But, I'm in favor of the death penalty because: If you took someone's life, it's fair that you lose yours too. How crazy. Poor this child. And you who's defend him: imagine the victim's family seeing this video, this guy laughing and happy. Imagine the victim being someone you love. I say this because I had a very good friend who was murdered and where I'm from, unfortunately there is no death penalty. I wouldn't want to see her killer get a second chance, because she didn't. It's a lack of empathy

He is not the only murderer. Alan Wade has 3 co-defendants and Tiffany Cole is one of them. Cole's father was a friend of the couple and she didn't get the DP. Her husband is no longer on DR cause his sentence was commuted to Life. I'm not 100% sure but no doubt commuted 2 LWOP.

The child is probably his biological son. A trustee or other inmate got paid to be a look out or a C/O got enough $ 2 look the other way. Except 4 freedom....if you have enough $ a person can buy nearly anything in prison.

Nah, she is crazy and dumb for this. Of course he is “in love with you”. He has no other woman around him or “in” his life. So you decided to become a single parent to a person who will never be released. So he will never be able to support you and this poor child. You pour so much into these inmates, you could’ve pour into your child and yourself. Lack of self love, plenty of good men around and you chose to make you and your child’a life harder for some attention and validation from a man IN PRISON. Soon, that boy wouldn’t want to be dragged to that prison every weekend just to see his dad. 🤦🏽♀️ Mental illness and lack of self love is crazy.

He gave me harmony! When I was a little girl of age, something bad was done to me, that caused so much damage, as that little girl's heart broke into sadness, by some adult's madness! The abuse gave me many years of agony, until I surrendered my life to the Lord, and found myself in harmony. Finally I understood that He always had loved me, and He had felt the pain I felt ; that made my heart melt. He helped me to forgive the abusers, as His love for me changed my heart for real, and He little by little the wounds would heal. Today, my heart aches for those who have gone through the same, and thought it was some adult's game. @BreeziDeezi - DR inmates aren't allowed to have sex w/ the spouse. Someone or a few someones' got paid 4 that to happen. Also, he is no longer on DR cause sentence was commuted 2 Life. My guess the sentence is now LWOP but not 100% sure.

That's his son. After rewatching it and doing some research, the implication is that a guard was paid off to turn a blind eye - which is why she refuses to divulge how the child was conceived.

I worked with really wrong people but did connect ( not love but human) and nobody got it. I would not do what she did but still who am i to judge, she is in ❤ and he is on deathrow so not a danger, so we cant get it but just let them…when se starts doing wrong things for him them we can talk

I believe in change & rehabilitation too- he was 18 & in need of a father figure at the time of the crime...he wasn't the ring leader & has expressed extreme remorse. This is a remarkable story- whether you agree w/ it or not, thanks for sharing

This guy only shows remorse because he got caught. Him and the other perpetrators literally took pictures in a limo just hours after the murder. Why didn't he go to the cops and confess before he got caught? I'm sorry but this guy doesn't even have an ounce of remorse
