It’s true OTT gives such directors breathing room to do justice to good stories that might get cut short in a feature film. 🤔

They have really held on to wanting to cast on merit and put out their story vs a watered down version of it! I hope its the same case in the long run!

I am a 90s kid who lives in Canada cuz my parents left India after marriage for better job prospects and I have only been to India for a few summers to visit my grandparents and other relatives so I was also wondering if I would be able to enjoy the show if I didn't get the cultural and rural nuances and references and all. Raj and DK were right. It doesn't matter or hinder the story in any way cuz one can still enjoy and be entertained and engaged by the compelling story and characters. I just asked my mom to explain to me about the STD phone booth scene and she told me how she used to use it during her college days and during her first few jobs back home. She loves Bryan Adams' songs and has been playing them on her IPod for years but I had no idea those songs were THAT popular even in India during the 80s and 90s on the radio and stuff. So, that was an interesting cultural tidbit to learn through this show and I grateful to Raj and DK for including all those cultural references and stuff to help inform us millenials and Gen Zs of how some things were before our time.

Imagine him completely surrendering to their vision! Would be such a treat!

@@TriedRefusedProductions it's understandable and completely valid. Now that they've created a name for themselves for the type of comedy and the action films, if they approach a right star, i think they can do it without compromising. Like you've mentioned in the interview, chiranjeevi is in dire need of a new presentation from young directors. Personally, I think it's better if they approach actors like Nani or Naveen polishetty or adivi sesh... Actors who are willing to take risks and have a decent market cap. And then aim for bigger stars later on.
