I tried to watch it with an open mind without the criticism of others I couldn’t even make it through the first episode. Then watching people talk about the second and third one just yeah nah😂

@@carlykingthe show was created by Harvey Weinstein’s former personal assistant, and nobody in their right mind can think she didn’t know, or suspect…at all, beyond a shadow of a doubt, what was going on behind closed doors. She was his go to person for literally everything, so yes, the criticism the show was getting because of her is more than justified.

I don't think they're doing much lightsaber spinning in this series. The martial arts in this series appear to be more about traditional martial arts and ropes with acrobatic movements.

As a life long Star Wars fan I cannot stand this show and find it hard to watch… kudos for you for making this happen for yourself. I hope they give you a slot somewhere as you wield it better than most on these Disney shows.. you would annihilate Ashoka…

That must've been a great experience 🥳 I love those rooms & many sets in general used in beautiful Star Wars Telly shows. You should get a extras or similar role in Ahsoka S02, The Acolyte S02 & so on ✅ Can't wait to relax via S01E04 of Beautiful The Acolyte with "65 Led Telly, 5.1 Wireless headset 😋 Ginger Tea Cuppa & couple warm veg sammies waiting for clicking play on controller 🙂 Not yet of course, but minutes before start streaming via D+ on next wednesday evening ✅ Enjoy cosplays & streaming The Acolyte S01 via D+ 🙂

Acolyte is honestly great it's so unfair how people hate on it for the dumbest of reasons. Criticisms are fine but a lot of the unnecessary hate seems to come from people that are homophobic just because of some JOKES the director made in an interview. Homophobia is unfortunately a large part of the hate. I've seen so many hateful comments from one interview in particular because they make gay jokes and the woman writing it happens to be lesbian. Critiques are fine, I just feel it's coming from a more sinister place.

@KniveLing Agreed, no one can control how we feel about something in the same way we cannot control how people feel about this show. If you don't like the show that is perfectly fine. Some people will like the show, which is also fine. He said that in response, since you stated you can't handle the Star Wars fan who just likes anything Star Wars related. We can't force and/or determine for people to call it garbage if they don't think it is. I gave the show a shot and it's alright (there are some things I like and some things I dont). I would say shows like Andor and Mandolorian are written better.
