🇷🇸 Whilst visiting the powder keg of Europe - the Balkans, on my road trip across Europe I had the chance to go to Serbia, where I met up with one of my great KZfaqr friends - @LivingIronicallyinEurope . So in this video I travel from Zagreb, Croatia to Novi Sad, Serbia to show you a bit of this highly controversial European country! This is part 5 of my trip around Eastern, Central and Southern Europe and the last of the 2-part Balkan mini-series. I hope you enjoy!

One of the greatest and most unexpected collabs on KZfaq (probably). I see you comment on his channel all the time but I never expected that you two would meet each other, this is absolutely glorious. I have a feeling you went to Budapest while you were in Hungary, but I hope you also got to see the Danube Bend area as well (with places such as Szentendre, Visegrad and Esztergom). Szekesfehervar is also a rather historical city located close by to Budapest.

As a fellow Serbian, this gave me a chuckle out of some parts and I even laughed at some jokes! At 6:24 you mention that Cedevita, a juice that I sometimes drink, is apparently Serbian cool-aid. I have never tried cool-aid since I don't have it in Serbia but yeah! It's really good! It has multiple flavors but the one I drink the most is the orange flavored one. Also one time when I was going to a trip near Romania, there was this restaurant where they had fried(?) nettle and other and it tasted ABSOLUTLEY amazing. I'd definitely recommend going to Serbia again when you have the time, it's got some really cool places!

I would highly recommend you to visit Montenegro in the future, especially the Bay of Kotor and the rest of the coast, perhaps even our national parks, as you aren't far away and you will surely love it here.

@@darjandjordjevic i was only for a day there so i didn't visit much, but out of all of countries i visited so far i liked montenegro the most, BiH second best, then a tie between slovenia and austria but is spent very little time there and then czechia because it felt the same as in croatia except everyone spoke funny and a ton of grain feilds

@@BananaCheeseburgeryeah like the comment above thats not how it works, infact poland which didnt belong to the ussr is slavic, so is czechia and slovakia. bulgaria is aswell a slavic nation and didnt belong to either. A slav is from their ethnic background not their historical background... i cant tell if you are either stupid or making a joke. oh yeah + estonia didnt belong to the ussr all the way until 1940 meaning would it still be considered slavic before the ussr conquered it according to you?

Best best city where i ate cevapes (i guess this is plural) is definitely in Sarajevo, 2. best is in my hometown of Niš. Highly recommend visiting Sarajevo just for ćevapi u kajmaku ( cevapes in kajmak)

Budapest never competed with Novi Sad for ECoC. The Hungarian nominee ended up being Veszprém, which is a European Capital of Culture in 2023.
