Yo! Moving weight. That’s what matters (as long as you don’t hurt yourself lol). Have you tried reverse hyper extensions? Work wonders for the lower back strength and form

I have done them but I don't currently have a setup in here that would let me do them easily. If you notice, my hips shoot up first out of the hole and at first I thought it's because I'm not using enough leg drive but after watching the video multiple times and enlarging it, it looks to me like I'm not pushing my upper back into the bar as I come up. So I'm not squatting with my entire body, I'm squatting with just my legs and that's stealing some of my power. And yeah, I'm done with hurting myself, I'll leave that to the young guys!
