As someone with moonstone essence *exploration* as energetic medicine is really helping me. I realized I was frustrated by not having enough clothes (I have also become good at decluttering 😅) because of under-shopping. My under-shopping came from seeing shopping as a waste of time (not permitting myself a bit of indulgence) and lack of clarity and inspiration in the first place. I was very serious, anxious and perfectionistic when it came to shopping, to not make mistakes and to find the right thing. Now, applying exploration, I am more relaxed and trying to have more joy and fun while finding new things without a strict goal in mind. (Understanding style logic and energetic medicine for moonstone was helpful in this regard) Where I still struggle is having a vision, a visual inspiration while getting dressed. I almost always get dressed only for the practicalities of the day/the context for where I will be wearing the outfit to, without giving myself the time or permission to develop a vision/story for my outfit. In the last couple of years I've been learning a lot about overconsumption and environmental issues, which are so important, but I've always struggled to feel comfortable spending money on myself, and now I feel totally paralysed. I'm so sick of immediately talking myself out of everything I want and feeling unable to express who I truly am through my style. It's really hard to find advice on undershopping because it seems like way more people have the opposite problem - thanks for making this video!

Rita, general comment - I really love up/down + left/right wording. I think most people have associations to them that are in line with your system and they are easily understandable. When you use gemstones, people have a whole set of associations to gemstones themselves, independently of your system, which muddies their usage and decreases relatability. Plus, it just makes it much much more harder to remember what is what and understand your streams on the fly. Regardless, love your work very much. Warmly, T.

Hi Rita, thank you so much for this video 💛 I think that you are right in that I don't give myself permission to dress the way I want. Not because of budget or fear of making a bad purchase, but that the vision I have for myself isn't the way other people around me dress. I live in a "poor" area & so my daily outfits (leggings & T-shirts usually) help me blend in. When I try to dress "better" I feel awkward (I'm Moonstone RD). I know it's probably just a lack of confidence but unfortunately I can't buy that at a store 😕

I feel like I finally have a clear image of the kind of clothes I want to wear, but yet I struggle to find them or find brands that sell them 😅 I know there has never been more availability and variety of clothes to choose from but finding clothes is the hardest part for me! Perhaps I'm not searching for clothes / brands in the best way 🤔

I'm going to watch this video again as I'm a bit overwhelmed. I totally know what the video means. I'm my own barrier to my shopping experience. As an example I went out yesterday just for a browse and saw a pair of khaki linen trousers. Straight away they were a yes because I've been looking for something that's not jeans. After that I could feel the wall go up with the voice in my head going well that won't suit you, not will that,forget that,don't even bother trying that. The only positive I have to take is the times where I've just "known" something would be right,I've been bang on. I need to get better at going past my self built comfort zone
