Here's a bit of an idea for the lore. After the nuke had been dropped on the MDM FOB, many changes had started to come about because of it. One would be that the Thrumboian tribes would call this "The Day of Two Suns" as the flash was so bright and large that it looked like that of a sun, even when it was nearing night. Both the Marshals and The Rebels would also hear of this, but would both come to an understanding that these weapons were simply to dangerous to use against one another as, if either or both sides got their hands on these weapons, it would mean the end of the world. They would decide to see these weapons as last resort weapons, the final option should the war become to long or too costly. The MDM and other criminal organizations would be scared shitless as they had not expected the S&R Rifle company to have such a destructive weapon, let alone utilize it in such a way. It made them start to fear just what else they had, but also solidify their desire to destroy the company.

Considering history, without proper intel, unless S&R disclosing their involvement. I'm thinking Marshals would suspect the rebels and rebels would suspect Marshals, but the MDM would freak out trying to make deals with whoever they can and picking fights as a giant explosion like the fury of an angry god evaporated an entire base into ash, dust, and glass. While some or none of this may happen, it's safe to say that it would create paranoia, panic, and chaos.

It think that a good name for the stronghold would be "F.O.B (Forward Operating Base) Spearhead" because from there you will prepare the operations to take down the MDM and because I think it sounds cool

for naming the bots that are protecting Downs you could use a naming system kinda like what the US airforce uses for naming air plane platforms (theres a good wiki page on it), and then give them nicknames or serial numbers to differentiate them. For the plane it'd be cool to have an air field or cave-like underground airfield, also if you plane to increase the amount of plane you have, then having an airbase with Close Air Support and/or bombers and helidopters could be cool, with like hangars and all of that. also i think artillery is really cool and along with air superiority its one of the big factors in modern warefare since ww2, so having a seperate section/squad for artillery could be cool. btw if you plan on having multiple squads, then giving the mercenaries ranks could help organize them alittle better. in any case, i love the series! its how i found your channel.

I think the new strong hold needs a type of leader like shinichi that can help protect and lead the FOB and maybe even help them out with newer and improved weapons or vehicles if they are in the front lines

Lore Idea: In Orbit there are perhaps one, a few, or even a dozen ancient thromboian space stations in orbit of the planet that are either cloaked by some ancient stealth technology or simply are too far away for people on the planet to see (with telescopes) since they are more focused on fighting and surviving rather than exploring. These space stations in fact house many mechanoids of all kinds that can be dropped in to support any mech linked individuals, or in the case of hostilities drop in armies or entire bases to attack the thromboian s enemies planetside. And due to Downs not being a thromboian whenever she wishes to advance her mechtech the stations will end harder and harder mechs to destroy this "userper". Name for the Mech: The names should be something like Steel Conquerer or perhaps Bombardeir Tyrant. Something that's very Pacific Rim like as we all know that movie is peak mechs and naming a mech not like Pacfic Rim yeagers is not peak. Final Things: With nukes now being brought to the forefront I would say nuclear weapon production should be heavily increased alongside mech and mechanoid production as the world will definitely have eyes on them, and the Marshalls and Foundation will definitely not let something like this stay out of their hands for long. Also while it might not be the best idea, I feel like it's time to allow there to be children to be born since well with the Mercenaries having an official general and Scott getting older, there needs to be those who can inherit their titles so the S&R Rifle company can keep going into future generations. ((Not sure if this is to much lmao

You could name the mech ‘Metal-1’ or ‘Sledge’ because of its sheer firepower. Maybe when your mercenaries become elite mercs, they become mech pilots? For the smuggler, maybe call it the Sunbird? Both because it’s a desert plane and because it dropped a sun

I think when the factions found out about the nuke they would be likely scared of what happened and fight over the fallout of what happened kinda making a no mans land between the two for both to try to get the fallout and research it first

What I usually do with empire is to build a few dedicated defense outposts with a bunch of barracks and artillery which allows you to deploy their forces to defend your settlements (and even call in troops in battle once you design an army) and then seeing which resources are the most productive and building a bunch of those bases Still use those old TotalTimewaster empire videos as a bit of a tutorial

Lore idea: As Shinichi dropped the bomb the crater inside and the toxic wave waved upon the nearby gang (forgot their name), this sent their leader into a question, the settlement that had once been so missirable had grew that much that they we're now a threat into a whole world and their main enemies. The moral of the gang had sigificantly dropped down the point where most of the settlents started to ask them self. We're they really safe in the hands of their leader? He should take everything in his hands to once again take control of his territory or else he'll lose to Shinichi's crew.

Far as the plane goes, I feel like a good name for it considering it just bombed the hell out of an MDM base, would be "Rosie Bomber" sort of a call back to Bazookah Charlie's efforts back in ww2 where he flew a plane a lot like that one, strapped bazookahs to each wing with a cord leading to the cockpit to allow to fire them. Confrontations from both sides will be had and potentially, S&R may have to spill blood from them both if need be.
