Ya, you'd think that at least for being Mr. Land Boi, RegiROCK would be more his style than steel but what do I know about things. And yes I'll grant that the core of the Earth is metal but Team Magma seems really focused on like, the continental crust side of things, so Rock/Ground/Fire seems more their style than Steel, but it's fine. There is technically metal in the crust I suppose.

@@chadwarden8664 i will be a fanboy here and say that i don't know about that. Sure, gian finished EK first he's definitely insanely good, but all the games Jan beated definitely puts him above gian. And even the best lose a few times. But, to play devil's advocate here, i didn't look up the games gian beat, so to say for sure who is the best we would need to see his and compare the most hard games and the amount of tries, we don't even need a full list, just the hardest ones and if he has the same games with most of them with less tries, than he is better. Btw, Jan has his in his twitch channel.

@@C3l3bi1 You're right, if we were talking about vanilla pokemon games, games that are not that hard or games from different genres, but when considering really hard games of the same kind, gamelists and the amout of time/tries it took to beat those games are really important. For example, Dark Souls, if person A beats DS3 faster (or with less problems) than person B, he is the better DS3 player, but if person B beated DS2, DS1 and Bloodborne faster (or with less problems) than person A, we could consider him the better Souls player overall. Same with pokemon, we can consider gian_97 a better Emerald Kaizou player than Jan, but consider Blue and Crystal Kaizo, Rising Ruby, Radical Red, Blaze Black and so on, and considering that we have no gamelist from gian, Jan is definitely the better pokemon player overall.

But that's kind of true. Crits will happen sooner or later, but you can try to avoid situations where you lose a mon to crit. Sometimes you just get fucked even when you make the right decision in the moment but when you get more game knowledge you can plan better next run.
