That’s actually a good idea for low income families. Quick and easy too. Some days we’d skip meals because we could only afford 1 or 2 meals a day and any kind of dessert like cookies were definitely a rare treat. I think they’re great !

Growing up with limited means though these were a treat. Especially when you’re great grandmother was your baby sitter, I gladly ate my Kid Cuisine

The water is so the corn becomes boiled and not roasted. They’d be really really dry without it.

Back in the day We called them TV DINNERS. They were great tasting and filling. My entire family used to sit in front of the television watching Bonanza and eating Swanson TV DINNERS. Now they have something similar to that and it is called Banquet. You get Mashed Potatoes, Ribs and corn in some of the packages. Swanson used to have Chicken Legs, Wings and Thighs. The Turkey was OUTSTANDING.

Kids cuisine is actually pretty good, but the food can be a little soggy, which is kind of expected from a frozen meal. The corn also always has water in it for some reason. Pretty good though huh?
