I find these videos hilarious. It used to be about getting pumped for card unlocks and sweet variants, now it’s the thrill of the occasional pixel and good load times. I’m here for the title critique TBH.

The fact that 100 reserves doesn't even get you enough tokens for a series 4 card in the shop is pretty crazy. I'm CL 9,500 and I buy the season pass but I'm losing ground on getting a complete card collection where in the old system, pre-spotlight cache, I was catching up. Having a chance of getting a S4/S5 card in reserves and significantly more tokens in them was way better. I don't feel like I can safely spend tokens because they are sooooo much harder to come by. I wait for at least 2 un-owned cards in a spotlight cache week but almost always need to use 4 keys to obtain both cards. I think eventually I'll fall too far behind with too many missing cards to be able to stay competitive and more importantly make fun relevant decks.

I think they should link portrait + variant, that would clean up the pool of rewards a little bit. You get a variant? Here's your cool portrait to go with.

There are several things that can make it more interesting. 1. Add more borders to portraits 2. New emotes (although i dont ise them) 3. "Play mats" your side of the batlle ground has your your custom background. 4. Custom card animations To name a few..

The caches with random items in them are fine, but I feel like we need guaranteed rewards as well. Like how every 110 levels is a spotlight key, a guranteed variant every so much levels would be nice.

I feel Rhino could be a 3/5 with Jeff's "can be played anywhere" text so he can destroy any location, including the ones that are normally locked.

I kinda dislike that I am spending Credits to climb a reward track that gives me mostly Credits... It just feels not very satisfying.

As a free to play player, I like the idea of adding gold back because that feels like a better resource than credits, also I really like the idea of a variant that you can only get very rarely from reserves to add more value that is specific to the reserves rather than just resources you could buy

Imagine being free to play getting finishing the cashes then going to reserves being excited to see what new cards you get to play with then proceed to open a title that you will never use

Feel ya bro. Quit when conquest first came out and recently came back to check things out. 2 weeks of caches all I got was 1 varient, 3 100 tokens and like 4 gold passes with rest as crap. Opening reserves use to be one of my favorite things to do, not anymore.

Maybe they need to do a new currency that can be spent on just variants, or just give us gold again! All the bundles are cash only now anyway, so gold would be good to receive.

Funny you posted this today, we were chatting in Reddit about just this. This season all the caches I opened were one of the following: pixel variants, variants for cards I never play (think Baron Mordo), boosters for cards I never play, a bunch of titles, and a few tokens and credits. That's it.

I feel like they should throw series 4 and 5’s back in the caches, it take soooo long to grind up collectors tokens especially with all the titles and portraits. If not the cards then drop 500 instead of 100

I think if they added the ability to get emotes in the Reserves would make things more exciting as opposed to just having them be a part of the variant albums. Everyone has been using the same emotes since the game came out and I think it would be a minor but fresh addition

I think the easiest thing they could do is add in ‘Chase’ cards to the reserve. So you have a chance to pull a sick variant. It could be limited to base set cards even. They could also allow a “choose your variant” feature so when you pop a variant you get shown 3 and get to choose one. That could really help with album completion

The lottery pull of an ultimate would be cool. Also just pair the titles and portraits with resources. So its like a bonus and not a replacement.

I feel like getting titles is borderline disrespectful for my time, effort, and money. Every time I get one I get one inch closer to madness. I am almost collection complete and been that way for months now and I just can’t get myself to play the game and enjoy it as much as I did when I first started, I just finish daily missions and and sometimes miss a couple if I don’t feel like it. I am very excited to grab new variants every now and then, I got the whole Pandart album, but gold is just so hard to come by and I can’t not think of the conversion from gold to real money every time I think about buying a variant. One thing worth mentioning though, your videos are a primary factor of me enjoying the game still from time to time. I love to watch them and try the decks, the meme ones and the competitive ones, the meme ones a bit more though. Keep up the good work and thanks for the entertainment.

I would add occasional super rare variants (since you can only currently get rare), would also add back unowned cards at a slightly lower rate than before

I like to upgrade the noir to gold border-you keep the animation (which often gives you a very appropriate rain overlay) and the gold feels more noir-ish than the other colors

I will say I don’t have nearly the same load time experience that Regis seems to in This video, perhaps it takes longer the more you have while it tries to roll the pull? Also, potential option for the caches to be more exciting would be a bulk opening option with an animation on them, as well as removing tickets from the pull pool since they expire anyways

I think caches would be better with the option to Claim or Let it Ride. Maybe that's too gamba for their tastes, but the option to toss back something you don't want to improve your chances on the next cache would be nice. If they're worried about that being abused somehow, then just make the entire tree past a certain collection level all caches and fold the boosters and small credits into them. Barring that maybe a Pity Roll system, but I think that would piss people off more.

I'm currently at CL 4,232 and still 17 cards away from completing pool 3 because I'm a returning Beta player, but at least now I know I'm not missing out on much from those complete collection reserves.

I think if you showed, the percentage chance on getting exactly what you received would be fun. As well as bringing back the variant rush events for reserves.

Less Chance for titles, More chances for Tokens (because their drop rate is abysmal), add in Gold to the Reserves. Also a small chance to get a Key out of a Reserve would be good too. Help to get more keys since they're so far apart.

I recently started playing Snap, not too long ago and getting to CL 1000+ has definitely hampered my love of the grind. The collectors reserve just downright suck. There’s not even a reason to buy for progress when half of the progress is stupid titles or avatars. I just want new cards or variants

I think that it would be awesome if portraits and portrait boarders where unlockable through card use, discard destroy movement, for example play death 10,000 times get a platmiun portrait border ect.

I know it probably won’t be done, but I think you should have a small chance to get older season pass variants and spotlight cash variants. As a very casual person I don’t have enough of the resources to get a lot of them

Realistically speaking, opening may become more fun when the character mastery makes it into the game so it makes it feel a little more worth it. But also maybe add a premium mystery variant every 500-1000 CL at the very least.

I wanna see more boarders for your avatar. I also think that different title/name plates would be cool and it'd be cool if you could see them in game! Or even different color/styles of UI elements like energy or the bg for the deck info in game. I'm a big fan of custom UI.

The Chibi Viper variant might remind you of Kim Possible carton from about 20 years ago.

In order for the collector's caches to be attractive to me is to have a 10% in a cosmetic cache to have a non-rare variant and maybe a 1% chance for ultimate. otherwise, i very rarely get a variant that is used (either chibi/pixel/baby, or something that is worse than what i already have) and that's 40% in a 33% or something like that..let alone the fact that i seem to get waaay more titles and avatars than variants even though they have a worse drop chance

I've been looking for all the pixel discard cards, since the bundle came out. I haven't gotten a single one in my shop! Super jealous of that collen wing!

I think the obvious thing that Marvel snap needs more than anything else is the ability to trade cards between players. You can search for cards by name and come up with a list in the game of people willing to trade that card, and what they are asking for it in return . You could list your cards, and field offers. That would be awesome, no more waiting an eternity to get lucky and get the card you want so bad or having to save the rare collectors tokens all the way til your death bed just for 1- 6,000 token card. I mean, it is a game based on trading cards. Why the hell you can't trade them is beyond me.

i think a cool way to reward players is having some milestones in the collection level system for example, say every 300 levels players get to choose/claim a series card to make it feel more exciting to be leveling up. another idea could be to add another mechanic to the game that could like supercharge cards in some way that would only be obtainable in the collection leveling system but in terms of when these “superchargers”are obtained and how the cards are “supercharged” i would not know final idea - add a new currency to the game that is strictly for cosmetics and the devs can assign a value to each card variant. next, they add a feature that lets you scrap your variants for said currency to be able to buy the arts the player wants

I'm not sure it even needs resources adding. Don't get me wrong, I'd definitely take extra stuff, but they have said they won't do that because "the economy can't support it" (not like the game is a cash cow or anything)... The collector track used to be a lot more exciting (even then, it wasn't crazy IMO), but now it's not even worth opening the "rewards" beyond the keys. Even just getting rid of the Gold Tickets would encourage me to be at least a BIT more interested again.

Instead of caches, they should just do like they did with the spotlight keys and just have a set what we get. Have a title cache, a portrait cache, a mystery variant and whatever else they want to give. That way, you know what you're getting and you're excited to get to the things you like.

The one thing I would wanna change for the Collector’s reserve is change the Collector tokens from 100 to 500 cause the Ultimate cards is 5,000 and the weekly spotlight/series cards are 6,000. Which takes so long to collect that much amount of tokens

They should implement that you unlock variants of cards that you actually use. This would have zero downside for them. Just makes you stay excited to play the game and unlock stuff

for solutions i think the most fair one would be allowing players to choose collector tokens instead of the portrait or title reward. the solution that doesn't include more player rewards would be to at the very least make the title or portrait be a choose 1 between 2 or 3 options. cause as it currently is most people get a title or portrait and don't care cause it's not one they'd ever use. now there's a higher chance it's one they would want to use.

change the titles and boosters a new currency, we can call it "cosmetics currency" and with it you can buy titles that you might actually use, old card backs that new players missed, and a new type of universal booster

I currently have 340 unopened collectors reserves. I just haven’t felt compelled to open them since they were last changed. I’m F2P as well (+season pass). Really hoping they make them better at some point. I can see myself stopping playing the game before I ever actually open them up lol

Maybe a once a month video of decks made with only cool variants or themed variants would be a good idea.

Tbf , i watched these series almost since the start , i play way less but still quite alot and with avatar releases and titles they seem to be clogging up the series cards quite a bit. Ofcourse their answer tp this was the caches with 1/4 chance to get a new card or wait for cards you don’t have

New variants have been releasing ridiculously slow. We are getting brand new cards with a SINGLE variant. Ravona has been out for months and still only has a Dan hipp....

Loading times take longer when it’s a variant. It’s been like this for a while

I didn't mind the changes to collector's reserves after the spotlight changes which I think I was in the minority there. What I DID mind was them injecting a bunch of useless titles and avatars that they KNOW nobody wants to make opening them less useful. There's literally a special type of mystery variant that guarantees you don't get a pixel and then they go add a ton of pixel avatars to reserves.

One of my favorite titles is never lucky. It makes some of my matches feel validated

Reserves dont feel as bad when you dont hoard them, theres no reason at all to hoard them, as you can see. Its much better to just open them as you get them, then the disappointment is more spread out and you dont notice how much useless shit you are given.
