i'm really into tcgs and collecting stuff. recently, trading card games have been coming to kickstarter quite a lot and i wanted to see what the most funded ones have been up to and how successful they've been, so let's take a look.

Awesome you took a look at Elestrals!!! Super fun game. As for Full art prices. Full arts from the booster boxes run between $70-150. The cheappp Full arts are from the promotional packs that came with every kickstarter order or from an addon pack you could buy during the campaign

Really enjoyed this. Aside from the unique aspect of reviewing Kickstarter TCGs, I do think something like this video structure (of you offering deeper review or providing commentary to something that was streamed) could be applied to other subjects going forward.

Cool to see a bunch of different TCGs here. I agree with your assessment of Sorcery. The card quality is nice, and the artwork is awesome. That Rise TCG was a big surprise. Might have to track that down!

Coming from Magic and Pokemon and… omg, Sorcery is AWESOME. Cracked a beta box, bought 2 more and 2 Alpha boosters to hold. Sorcery is going somewhere me thinks.

Cool video! Would like to see you do a follow up video reviewing these 9 Kickstarter TCGs to where they're at now with their most recent sets (if they're even still around). Perhaps open a box of their most recent sets and compare them to their Kickstarter sets. I'm sure you'll see that Akora has come a long way and has greatly improved since Kickstarter.

Loved the tcg content. I actually got you to sign a Grand Archive card at twitch con a few months ago so it was cool to see you open some packs. It’s definitely a gameplay first game for sure

Flesh and Blood is my favorite tcg, love to see the dromai mat even though I despise the dromai matchup lol. I'm an L1 judge for the game, hoping to become and L2 soon

I shifted from 30 years of MtG to Grand Archive. I like the art, it is clean and stylish, but mainly gameplay. The gameplay is perfect spot to me,. Some rules remenber MtG, so is easy to learn; the rest is diferent enough to make the feel diferent. The best part: no land cards to screw me!

I did not know you were also a card rectangle obsessive like me! While not a TCG I HIGHLY can suggest adding "Hero: Tales of the Tomes" to your collection. It kind of plays like a blend of mtg and hearthstone in tabletop form. I am kind of kicking myself for skipping out on the Sorcery Kickstarter after seeing the art and how the secondary market has sprung up. If you ever are interested in a bit of an oddity look into the older out of print TCGs like those from Decipher.

I was very surprised by the binding of Isaac box topper in rise. And now I want to get a box just for that card. The card itself is going for like 200 on eBay. Maybe it’s their only box topper lol

Oof looking thru that stream was a harsh crowd xD but it was some good publicity for sure! Thankyou for featuring our TCG on there (Cannabeast bby!) Sucks you guys can't see what others do but we cannot please everyone lol We've been doing amazing this year and there's way more to come. One thing I can point out is the borders are themed to each set, hence the grey border for "stoned ages". :)

i have the most familiarity with MTG, so i guess that, but i've heard good things about marvel snap. i just don't have the time to play many games, so collecting is a good 2nd place.

@@HelloDatto yyeah thats fair your content on your main channel is amazing and well thought out plus ive seen some of your highlights where your writing scripts on stream hopefully in the future whenever you get a break to download some on your phone you'll have fun with them i highly recommend marvel snap just from how unique it is and how each match is 5 mins long

Grand Archive is one of my main TCGs right now, and it's unfortunate that the box opening experience is so mediocre. The game plays very well, but the boxes are so mid lmao

Wow that Otherverse box was hideous, sheesh. Super inconsistent art quality and really ugly to look at with the really noisy art plus rather weak frames in my opinion making it all feel hard to actually parse. Brutal. That serialized card being so tucked away really sealed the deal for me.

just to note, I live in a medium size town and no one is playing any of these games at all, even Sorcery which had got a lot of hype last year has seen zero interest what so ever in the last 6 months.

Great video, really cool to see all the tcgs next to each other but hard to see you pulling the card of my dreams in Sorcery 🥲 i hope Sorcery fails, so the price of the foil Courtesan Thaïs card drops and i can afford it 🥲 really wanted that for my egypt tcg collection..really frustrating that they changed the art for the beta print
