He just used a bootstrap template, what even is professional about something so bland. The protifolio, to me seemed of an artist, and for an artist it was an absolutely boring one that reflected no thought whatsoever behind the design of the website which is literally screaming bootstrap.

The few comments that are here are over hyping the 50, 175, and 250. The 10 is by far the best. Don't be tricked into believing the sleight of hand pop outs. Also, it's apparent they used SquareSpace or some other website builder that's just drag and drop. Also, it's about the purpose of the website, if it's to show your portfolio, then have it do that. Everything else is fluff.

I hate how the last one crops out the edges when it zooms in as you hover. That’s a horrible idea for art showcases. The 10 dollar one had the best idea of just expanding the whole view box when hovering over the image

Do you dislike the idea of a contact form or the specific designs of them? I personally don't mind them (and I included one in my design in the full video), but I could see preferring just including the email address to simplify things and focus on the art more.

@@ConnerArdman I dont really like the colors, and it looks bland to me, with no style. The $50 one is pretty ok, and the $250 just feels empty and misaligned. Overall the whole pages look good, but the contact forms always stick out poorly to me

Hello. I have been watching you for a long time. I work as a front end developer and I also know basic backend stuff. So, here is the question: should I work as a full stack developer or it is better to stay in frontend development. And will the frontend still be relevant with the advent of AI. Many thanks. Love your videos 👍😇

Thanks, glad you like them! You should do whatever interests you most, one is not necessarily “better” than the other. I can’t predict the future, but I don’t think frontend jobs are going anywhere anytime soon.

Dont stay in frontend. Learn some technical stuff, and you can go into a lot more jobs (Architecture, DevOps, SysOps, etc), instead of just "Frontend Developer"

This is one thing I hate about “professional” web design. Every website looks the EXACT SAME. Besides the first $10 one, all the others follow the same template with some minor variations. And this is true for all professional web design. The tools we have to design websites are so advanced and support so many different forms of animations, yet everyone uses the same shit. It’s so boring And I get it, it’s to save time. You complete decent website and then you can copy paste the code you wrote there for every single future website you ever make. It’s efficient. It’s just boring
