I went on Fivver and Paid Random Producers to ReSample one of my most popular beats but I just gave them the song/sample I used and told them to figure it out.
The Results were actually really dope!!

I am the first guy with the 30$ beat. Thank you for featuring me bro. If I had known it was you I'd have done this for free. Big fan. I went with a more simple beat cause you told me you were an artist. Thanks again man. You're a legend

@scoot manke The beat drop was supposed to be 16 bars. Tf you expect me to do for 16 bars. I also sent the flp to kyle where I had a few counter melodies on it. I have about 300 reviews all 5 stars. That says something

@@RoitsMarvellous Thank you guys but I def could have went harder on this one. I sent the beat within a day. Usually, I ask the artists to give me a feedback before they accept my delivery so in case they want any changes or don't like the beat, I have enough time to make the changes. I never deliver something if the artist is not 100% satisfied.

get a key and chords and progression chart. It's pretty easy to stay in key if you are writing your own samples. It's a little annoying trying to take someones premade samples and put them in a different key tho. When I do need to know the key of something I use Auto-Key. As for taking pre existing samples and putting them to whatever key you want them in, I have no clue. I personally don't sample old products or take samples of existing songs or art to make new products. I write and key everything in myself then just find the appropriate instrument set to apply it with.

TL;DR Not all music producers have the musical IQ to experiment with odd sounds, and a complex creation doesn't guarantee that listeners will like it. Keep in mind most modern producers are not too familiar with music theory or sound engineering to reach further layers of creative potential. Many possible combination of fitting sounds are unknown to them because they would never think of placing certain notes with one another without feeling awkward about the result. At the end of the day, people who are ingrained in production may view music in a multidimensional way, but it ultimately depends on the listeners to determine whether they tolerate some sounds or not. Even if you know your work is unique, detailed and polished, it's *their* tastes that dictate what sells and what doesn't. Niche ears are not always what people can relate to, and gatekeeping music tastes to maintain an refined level doesn't equal an enjoyable experience for the rest (majority) of listeners who might not find the value in tracks they simply don't understand.
@iudexCervello
@iudexCervello 3 жыл бұрын
@@gvs6462 but at the end of the day, regardless of the experience of the layman, if someone intends to craft an experience that's considered esoteric or niche, you can't consider it _wrong_ or _low quality_ either. I think in efforts of making things accessible we also simultaneously create a new type of gatekeeping that somehow ostracizes nuanced experiences. Learners and enthusiasts are free to craft whatever experience they want, but I think you criticizing something as lacking technicality should be reserved for things actually lacking in technicality. Saying something isn't good≠saying you don't like it

He likes the simplest beat. That's just taste. I felt the rise to the first drop for the $100 beat was very advanced and showed skill. Anybody can put a basic riser.

i'm a metal guy too and remember watching a metal video on youtube reading the comments and someone goes "that drop was sick!". then everyone proceeded to flame him in the comments for calling a breakdown a drop. i have no idea what you're referring to as a metal drop so i'm not flaming you just thought it was funny
